I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

Hello,
I have been tutoring Math for over 14 years for various grades: Middle School, High School, and College. Math is a wonderful subject once you understand it. My primary objective is to help you love Math and enjoy it. Once that is established, nothing will stop you from excelling at Math.
Diplomas: I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications, MS in Telecommunications, and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tutoring Methods: My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I always try to provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach helps the student remember the equation or even reconstruct it again based on the scenarios discussed. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it because we do not pay attention to it but that does not mean it does not exist. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on them at home before our next session (these assignments could be chosen from the textbook or I could formulate them myself). This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.
Guarantees: I can guarantee you that if you follow the steps I pass onto you and do your homework assigned to you, I have no doubt that you will not only pass the class but also end up with an A. That's based on experience and not talk.

Hi there! I am a former scientist who happens to enjoy English and test preparation in addition to math and science. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from Boston University, a PhD in biological chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute, and three years of postdoctoral experience at Harvard University in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. The subjects in which I specialize include Test Preparation; Mathematics; General Chemistry; Organic Chemistry; English Writing, Grammar, and Literature; and Introductory Biology . As a tutor, I am patient and adept at identifying areas in which students may need extra help. My style is informal and approachable, and I relate extremely well to students ranging from elementary-school-age to working adults.
About me: I have worked as a part-time Professor of Chemistry at local colleges and universities; I tutor extensively in subjects ranging from science to English to test preparation; and I worked for many years as a scientist--performing experiments and communicating results through written and oral presentations to specialists and non specialists alike. Through these experiences, I have become expert at relating to students of all ages and educational backgrounds.

To many, the sound of Math is synonymous with TOUGH, but through my learning development and experience, I discovered that math can become fun if basic concepts that are fundamental to the building blocks are well www.*** is where I make my students evolve with confidence and motivated by guiding them through this understanding till they achieve self-reliance and become math gurus. I have my bachelors in Electrical Engineering, and currently a masters candidate in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, hence I am well grounded in www.*** have taken several students in the past in math (SAT math, GRE math, elementary math, algebra, calculus etc) who never believed they could stop struggling with math, they eventually move from C students to B and eventually A. You will be amazed what pace you can progress with your math skill after a short time of tutoring with www.*** 't hesitate to grab an opportunity to be better in math where you need help, let me know where you are currently and we can move on from there by preparing a structured approach tailored to help build you up. I began tutoring students in general chemistry and organic chemistry while in college. This was done both as part of a free tutoring service offered by a student chemistry organization and as a private organic chemistry tutor. Many organic chemistry students who took both semesters of the class, after seeking my help for one semester, requested I stay on to help them in the second semester. Students who recieved my help in the free tutoring frequently began to request my help as a tutor (the service always had multiple tutors available) in subsequent weeks.
While I did not work specifically as a tutor in graduate school, I had been employed as a Teaching Assistant, specifically with the general chemistry courses. Similar to my tutoring work in college, students enjoyed having me as a TA, finding me very helpful for better understanding a fairly complicated course. All student reviews of my work as a TA have been above average, with praising comments.
While I do not specifically have experience as a math tutor, I do have experience tutoring math concepts (the subjects covered in general chemistry will involve basic math to algebra). Having minored in Mathematics in college, I also have experience with multiple levels of calculus.
From all of my experience as a tutor/TA, I have always found it rewarding to watch students grow and better understand what is being taught. Chemistry and Math are challenging courses for many people, and as someone who genuinely enjoys these subjects, I want to help make the classes/homework a little easier for those who don't.

Hello, I have been tutoring and helping children for around 18 months now in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, and private individual tutoring. I mainly tutor Elementary and middle school level in most subjects including Maths, English and Science, and High School Psychology, Science and English. I also can help with SATs prep, SOLs and essay editing or support as well as College application or general university advice. I can also help with coursework/homework in all subjects in term of checking for grammar and punctuation and general flow of the coursework piece. In my previous tutoring placement at a school I, along with the teachers ensured that all the students were able to pass their SATs, an achievement that the school had never accomplished. This proves my dedication towards each child ensuring that they are able to achieve their goals to the best of their ability. Please let me know if you have any questions and would love to work with you!
