My name is Malika G.! I am currently an elementary school teacher in the Houston area! My passion is teaching and working with kids. I have tremendous experience with children. My first job was a swim instructor where I gave swim lessons to all ages. I then became a Dance Instructor where I taught Bollywood dance to children ages 5-15. I was also a Montessori teacher for 2 years and was responsible for children ages 0-5 years. In addition to all of this, I am the eldest out of my cousins and siblings in my family and have pretty much taken up responsibility of helping care for them since a very young age. I look forward to helping your child achieve your academic goals and am excited to see how much they can learn and grow! :)

I began teaching music professionally in 2015 and since then it has become my passion. I graduated college with a degree in music and teach professionally as my primary source of income. I regularly teach guitar and bass (4 string 5 string and fretless) as well as introductory piano and even college level courses such as: music theory, composition and songwriting; all of which can be applied to any instrument.
