Hello everyone! My name is Abigail S. and I would like to extend educational services to families who may be experiencing difficulties during the 2020-21 school www.*** ;Many health departments around the country have recommended all districts begin the school year remotely, and this can cause some problems for many families who may have essential workers in the household, multiple students, or create fear and worry for parents who do not feel they are cut out to help their students succeed in the way a teacher cannot replace. Whatever the reason, I would like to help!
I am a 2019 graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Music Performance. I am a substitute teacher for Tacoma Public Schools and was intending on working with them again this school year, however that may not be the case. I also work as a production manager and educator for an area youth theatre program. I teach clarinet and saxophone lessons on the side.

I am a mid-career professional specializing in writing and education services. My projects to date have included public and private sector works where I developed content intended for applications in the fields of language instruction, test preparation, career training, business management, and applied science research. Several of these works have led to independent publications in peer-reviewed journals and countless more have been hosted on sites across the web. In addition to these projects, I act as a licensed educator focusing on English language acquisition as well as vocational and technical skills development. Through my work and studies, I have traveled to dozens of countries with sojourns in Germany, South Korea, and the United Kingdom, experience I believe making me ideally suited for collaborating on complex international projects and developing cross-cultural services.

Hi! My name's T, I'm a college student studying to be a teacher. I love teaching, learning, and helping others. My hours and rates are fairly flexible and open to discussion. I've been tutoring since I was in eighth grade, but officially I'd put it around 2-3 years ago. I make lesson plans, worksheets, study guides - whatever you or your child need to succeed! I also like to keep both the student and parent updated on progress, assignments, and anything important I notice. I look forward to working with you!

I take great pride in being a lifelong learner. Since early childhood, I have benefited from the good fortune of being around others who have inspired me to learn by wondering about the world around me. When I first meet your student, we will spend a few minutes talking about what they are studying, what is challenging them in that course, and what interests they possess. Every aspect of our culture from entertainment to the sciences has a story. Helping a student focus on those stories can provide them the boost they need in subjects like History, American Government, and several others across the typical, 6-12th grade social students curriculum. I also have spent more than 20 years working as a broadcast journalist, taking complex informational chaos, and transforming it into informative www.*** ; If you are struggling as a writer or public speaker, I can help build your confidence. No matter what subject I assist you with, I intend to help you grow as a critical thinker. Almost every subject we encounter in school and every challenge in life requires the essential art of critical thinking.
In my past tutoring experiences, I have worked with student who are worried about being sent to summer school because of a looming F, only to have them raise their grades to Bs and As. For many of them, I have witnessed them develop a keener interest and mastery of a subject that once made them feel isolated, intimidated, and terrified. Let me help light your path through a touch class.
