I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

Growing up in the public school system, I realized its greatest fault is an apathy towards learning. Instructors merely teach towards a test, students are judged only by their ability to score high on exams. While it is a tutor's main goal to bring those scores up, I hope to create a learning environment in which students genuinely enjoy the material and become actively curious about the subjects they are exposed to. Whether it's biology, chemistry, math, or writing, I aim to not only teach my students, but to engage them and lead them to an ongoing interst in their fields of study.

My favorite thing to do in life is learning new things and relaying the things I've learned to other people. I've grown up tutoring my 3 younger siblings and 3 nieces (all in different grades) so I have experience in all kinds of subjects and learning levels. I'm a very comfortable person to talk to and understand. Whether it's helping out with the quadratic formula or teaching a young child how to read Dr. Suess, I'll figure out a way to help them comprehend the task at hand. I look forward to helping out!

I'm an Electrical Engineer and I have had experience with mentoring high school students in a program teaching about the world of building and construction with engineering and architecture.
I would like to make more impact in the lives of students who just need some extra time to learn concepts and principles of math and science.
Is your son or daughter having trouble studying their maths and sciences? Or needs bring up a grade to maintain their extra-cirriculars? I use methods that focus on learning the fundamentals of a subject and instilling practice that helps give the confidence to approach problems and achieve goals.
Important: I work in my day job typically from 9am-6pm, so please reach out to me with a name, preferred time to contact, and what level of study your son/daughter is working and I will reach out to discuss session period dates and times.
Sessions times are negotiable, online sessions are via Zoom and I offer the first session up to one hour for free!

My name is Sherman C. and I am originally from Houston, Texas. I have always had a love for learning. This was evident when I was young and still exists today. I am the guy in the group who plays random trivia games to learn about new stuff that I have never been exposed to before. When I started college I discovered that I also have a deep love for teaching/tutoring. I discovered the ultimate way to assess if you really know something is whether or not you can teach it to someone who may not be familiar with the subject matter. This is a great challenge, but I enjoy it. I love to see the look on a person's face when they "get it." I have also found that I too learn new things about the subject that I may not have known before. This is a rewarding experience for me. The subjects I am most passionate about are Chemistry and Biochemistry as these were the subjects I majored in in college. I also have a degree Naturopathic Medicine which makes me very comfortable with all subjects relating to biology, physiology and nutrition. I taught in the public school system for a few years and have been doing private tutoring for the past 14 years. I value knowledge because once it is attained it cannot be taken away from someone. If a person decides to use it, it becomes even more www.*** ;
