I was a tutor for Moore Public Schools during my sophomore year of high school. I have always achieved good grades, especially in English language and reading based classes. I am a passionate math teacher who loves to watch students excel. My main focus is to ensure that the students I interact with gain the skills needed to make learning easier. The greatest struggle I see with students today is they allow themselves to get discouraged when the learning becomes difficult as so many of them have had no issues up to that point. Students need constant reassurance that they can overcome any obstacle with enough work and effort.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I spent so much time and effort while in school learning not only from my teachers but from every internship I was able to take. I focused as much as possible on developing the skills to transfer my knowledge to the future generations.
I have taught at a number of high schools in Oklahoma and currently find myself teaching at Prue. I am qualified to teach AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and many more courses. I am a math and physics tutor with a first class Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Imperial College London. www.*** availability is flexible and I can help with homework problems and boosting confidence. www.*** goal is to help students not only solve problems but also to help them understand and highlight fundamental concepts and principles in order for them to see the bigger picture. This way students will see how various ideas in math or physics are connected and hopefully then develop an enthusiasm for the subject.
Hello! My name is Robyn, I am 26, and I am immunodeficient, making work difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic, so working from home as a tutor is my best bet at making income. I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Philosophy & Theology/Religion. I'm willing to tutor for subjects such as reading, writing, spelling, phonics, and religious studies. General homework assistance is also available. I am also offering storytelling, as I studied theater and spent a lot of time immersing myself in interactive, interesting, and fun storytelling methods to keep the kiddos occupied and laughing! I offer video chat through Facebook, but I'm open to Skype should that better suit you.
