Teaching is my passion! I have a masters degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as an endorsement specializing in Autism. I have taught in public schools for four years ranging from grades 1-5. I have had the honor of being selected as the lead teacher as well as model classroom for my most recent teaching job in Tampa, FL. I have earned all accomplished and exemplary ratings from my principals and truly love what I do.
I am a former divison II women's basketball athlete (captain). I played at Mercyhurst University for four years where I earned my bachelors and masters degrees in education. After college I coached high school girls basketball for two years and am willing to do private lessons ranging from ages 8-18.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Along with my basic tutoring subjects, I can also help those wanting to learn a second language. I am fluent in American Sign Language. I took three years of ASL in High School, was in the ASL Honors society, and still use it on a daily basis.

I started my education after my children were old enough for me to do so and just haven't stopped. I am passionate about learning and passing that along to others. I strongly believe that the quality of a person's future is dependent upon their education especially as we face the future. I can tutor at almost all levels but prefer to help students prepare for high school, college, and graduate school. I tutor mostly in test preparation skills, SAT/ACT, Reading and Writing, Composition, English, Literature, and many of the Liberal Arts. I also offer a well-received program for helping high school juniors and senior choose their college major and the institution they will attend. When I perform this service I will help narrow down the schools until a final list is picked and then will help with applications, essays, interviews, and financial aid including scholarships. All of my prices are negotiable based on your ability to pay and proof of income will be required. The performance increase in my students can be documented and frankly, I provide results.
