I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

Hello!
My name is Emily and I'm very excited that you are here. More importantly, I am excited that you (or someone you know) wants to make some music!
Currently, I am in my second year of college at Nazareth. My major is focused on Music Education and my primary instrument is cello. My musical knowledge revolves around cello and bass, but I can also teach basic music and www.*** ;
My goal for my students is simple: Making music should be fun. It can be hard and seem impossible at times, but it can also still be fun.
I have taught privately for the past 4 years with kids ranging from 4th grade-10th grade. I'm also interested in teachings kids younger than that as well. I believe that kids of any age can benefit from music!
Please let me know if you have any questions and don't hesitate to reach out!
Thank you and have a great day!
Emily

I love math and I love working with high school students! I have been focusing specifically on Algebra 2 students in the past few months, but am looking to tutor other disciplines in the future. Here is what makes me a great tutor: I am a clear communicator, I am goal-oriented, and I know how to coach students toward a specific goal. To add on to that, I have a degree in www.*** my experience, I enjoy being able to work with students through specific challenges in Algebra 2, and then finally see everything "click" for them. I have the patience to work through skills repetitively, and to explain them in multiple ways. In general, I greatly enjoy getting to know students. Please reach out to me if you would like to know more!

I have tutored students from pre-dchool all the way through juniors in high school. During my years at Canisius, I completed over 200 hours of field work. I also was selected to teach in Spain for three weeks. I have had to write and teach lessons and assess students. I have learned many different methods of teaching and tailor my teaching methods in a way that is best for the student
I also was a teacher aide for students with special needs during the summer for a summer school program. I did this for four years. I have a strong interest in children with autism.
As a tutor, I take time to form a relationship with both the student and parent. I encourage both the student and parent to take an active role in the tutoring process. I tailor my lessons to what the parent indetifies as a area of development and the student.

I am a high school senior who has prepared New York Regents preperation materials for fellow students in the past. Every student I have helped have passed their regents and almost all of them have scored greater than an 85. I am most knowledgable about Earth Science and Biology. However, I can help students in Algebra I, Physics and Chemistry. I ask that students provide me an understanding of what they have already learned, for example if a student needs help with homework I ask them to come with notes their teacher provided, so I have an understanding of a student's prior knowledge and what I can build off of to help them understand complex concepts.

Programming can seem like a daunting task. If you feel like you've just been thrown into the deep end of a pool then I'm here to tell you that you're not alone! Most of my life I've thought that programming would be a cool thing to learn, but when I tried to simply look things up online I would find myself lost in a mush of technological jargon. Eventuallly, I decided to begin work on a formalized education and I discovered that with a little structure and guidance programming can be quite easy, you just need to know where to start.
I'm here to help you find your footing. If you're just starting, want to expand your current knowledge, or are just plain stuck on an assignment we can work together to get you on the right path.

100% Recommended Tutor from the Trenches of Cornell Engineering!
I've been there.
If you're here right now, chances are I have. Maybe there's a concept that's just barely eluding you. Or maybe there's something that's more clear but you still find frustrating. Difficult homework, unclear lecture notes, exams around the corner -- I get it. I spent four years going through the rigorous AP/SAT/ACT minefield of high school, and another 4 going through the gauntlet of Cornell Engineering. I've been there, and I'm here to bring that expertise to you now. To make your life easier. Because as frustrating as school can sometimes be, there are few things that can compare to how rewarding it is when things finally click.
Reach out now -- just to chat, or to setup a lesson. I'd be happy to meet you!

I offer online sessions with standard Mandarin Chinese and simplified Chinese characters. There are two types of sessions that I provide. One is homework help, exam preparation, etc. You can send me the documents that you want to work on. The other type of session that I do is one-hour-long structured lessons with vocabulary, sentences, dialogues, etc. I follow a set curriculum and use PowerPoint presentations for the sessions. You also have the option to order the textbook online to go with your study. I teach both everyday Chinese and Business Chinese.
I have worked with students from 6 to 80 years old, ranging from K-12, college, working and retired adults, and homeschooled students. Right now I am specialized in beginner Chinese. My passion is to be a language teacher. I think it would be great if I could help you learn Chinese while doing what I love. I am patient, easygoing, and punctual. I can be flexible with the schedule, too. I live in the Eastern Time Zone and my availability can be found on my profile. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
