Being a montessori teacher and having an out of the box outlook to the learning process, I make sure to give my students an experience of learning with a proactive, productive and positive adventure while in my classroom.
Having a flare for drama has been an asset while I teach, as my training in Helen O'grady drama, a character development program, makes the learning and teaching even more enjoyable.

Hello! I would love to help you (or you child) foster a love for learning and further your education! Whether you're falling behind in a class, looking to get ahead, or pursuing an outside interest, I'm the person for you! I am currently a high school student with over 6 years of experience in childcare and teaching. I have worked with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students and believe I am well equipped to help students of all skill levels and abilities. I am currently a private music instructor and a daycare teacher, throughout the stay at home order for the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked for a family as a 1-on-1 tutor to help their children (6 and 14) with online/distance learning. I have a passion for music and believe it to be an important tool to be used when learning/teaching new subjects. I am always looking to learn more and approach every opportunity to educate myself further. Your tutoring session will be tailored to you, if you learn better through conversation and the socratic method, then we'll do that! If you learn better through worksheets and tests, that is exactly what we'll do. Upon graduating high school, I'm planning on pursuing a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Eduation from Bowling Green State University with a minor in music performance! I have a weighted GPA of www.*** and recieved a 31 on my ACT. Please feel free to email me at ***@*** com with any questions/comment/concerns you may have! In 2013,the founding educators of Piedmont Online Institute provided the vision, leadership, and a portion of the initial funding for the incorporation of The Piedmont Online Institution, a distance-learning institution in Greensboro, North Carolina. It was founded for the purpose of providing a pathway for success and leadership for adult learners. The focus is to bring about a quality distance-learning adult career institution. The institute focused on providing adults with a convenient and quality online learning environment to meet their career education and professional development goals. Piedmont Online Institute realized that adults need convenient online learning services to meet their professional development needs, and to be able to acquire academic credentials in a format that would limit the interference in their already demanding lives. We provide the solution to those issues.

I am a trained teacher with a diploma in education, BA in History and a Master's in Government. I have over 30 years' teaching and tutoring experience. AS as a tutor I do one on one counseling with my students to keep them organized and focused.
I have several years' public speaking experience mainly gained through Toastmasters International. I am a past president of the Minutemen Toastmasters Club with vast public speaking experience.
My tutoring style includes a few minutes of lecturing. I have found that having discussions with my students, having them complete assignments and then reviewing these assignments with them is the best method. I encourage my students to be proactive, asks questions and help them to reason through topics for themselves to ensure that they have grasped the concepts.
In addition, no teaching style works for all students so I always make sure to adapt my methods to the learning style of my student. After all, the most important thing is to make sure my students grasp the concepts and develop the ability to complete tasks independently.

I'm Kristina and I've been an honor student for 3 years now. I am advanced in all of my classes and simply love school. I love to tutor people younger than me because I'm close to there age and I remember how much I used to struggle. I love making the experience kids have in school worth it all. I am also a certified babysitter. I have all my CPR training. I work with kids ages 6 months to 11 years old. I'm a girl scout in the heart of Pennsylvania. Ask any of my friends and they will say I'm responsible and reliable.
As a bonus, I'm fun but know when to get serious!

Hi, my name is Kayla T. and I'm a college student at The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, studing Acting, Deaf Studies, and American Sign Language! I'm a third year Acting major at CCM, one of the best acting programs in the country, and have been studying theatre for about 10 years in and outside of school. I've helped a lot of people with their college audition materials and am more than happy to help you with yours or with acting in general. I also tutor Math and English, both of which I excelled in throughout high school. I got a 1550 on the SAT, with a perfect score on the math section, and am also comfortable tutoring SAT prep. My standard rate is $20 for 30 minutes (or $40 for 60 minutes). I love tutoring and helping people learn, and I hope I can be a good fit for you!
Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them!

I am from California, and I took the California High School Proficiency Exam in my sophomore year, leaving high school that same year and starting college. I have not completed college due to not actually knowing what I want to pursue long-term. I do, however, have a passion for English, - grammar and sentence structure are something I enjoy putting my time into - and I have been helping people around me with their own English classes for years. I have never recieved lower than a B grade on an essay, and my proofreading has helped my friends and family to achieve higher grades. I am also an award winning artist. My medium of choice is pencil or acrylic paint. I have been drawing since i was four years old and have not stopped since. I am proficient in American Sign Language, and English is my native language.
