I have a www.*** A. In Elementary Education and a minor in Math. I have over 20 years of experience as a regular Ed. Teacher and over 15 years of private tutoring experience. I specialize in multi-sensory learning with individual, small group sessions.
I am a 17-year-old girl who is in college as well as high school, I am trying to start a small business and need a way to make up the rest of the money to pursue it. I am willing to tutor anyone from 1-8th grade. Please let me know and thank you for your time. Price is adjustable for your needs, I understand how things can be sometimes.
I love kids and I am excellent in school. I excel in English, writing and math. But I can also do all other subjects with a quick look through the book for a refresher. I am also available to babysit.
I am looking into tutoring to help add some extra income to put into savings for college as I will be attending BSU this fall. I have always upheld a www.*** gpa, so along with teaching these subjects I would like to pass along some study tips and things I wish I would've known going into high school. I am especially passionate about health related subjects as I am hoping to attend medical school after aquiring my bachelors in biomolecular sciences. If you are apart of the Nampa School district CTE health program, I can be of service in CNA and www.*** ;
Hey! I'm Anna. I'm a high school student and a very hard worker. I love tutoring because it's gives me the opportunity to teach the material and be on the other side of learning. In my free time I love to play the piano. I often enter in competitions and have even won a few medals. I understand what children think is boring and i know how to make a lesson fun and educational. I'm a advanced math student and maintain an all A grade in all my classes. So i hope i can help you get that learning in for a cheap price.
A+ Tutoring provides a private 1-on-1 experience in every high school, middle school, and elementary school subject (some college subjects, too). Our education plans are highly individualized and we are happy to give you a further consultation through email if you are interested. Have a good day! :)
I have been tutoring for 2 years for free at the federal way library. I volunteer at the children's museum in Tacoma and I have an internship at an elementary school. I have experience with AP classes, honors, and pre-ap classes in high school. My schedule is very flexible.
Primary school math, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, CHS Precalculus, Calculus I (differential calculus), Calculus II (integral calculus), Calculus III (calc BC), Calculus IV (multivariable calculus), vector calculus, AP Statistics, English, AP Government, AP Language Composition, Music Theory, Piano, Microeconomics.
I attend the University of Washington. I was rank 4 in my class during high school (at Bothell High School). I am majoring in math/economics, and I am president of the UW Parliamentary Debate Association.
I am a college student looking to tutor people in English and math. I love to help people, and there's no greater satisfaction than seeing someone learn. I can tutor English through lower level college work and math up to precalculus.
I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for math and logic. I also love to see people be able to grow and learn in ways that they did not know that they could. There is also joy for me in learning as well because by teaching people I also get to learn and grow and get to grow a connection to the people that I am teaching. I am a college student pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. Math has always been a passion of mine, and I love the way numbers and calculations work to bring understanding to problems. I also have a lot of passion for teaching others and trying to help others achieve a better understanding of the material that they are studying along with helping them grow and appreciate the subject that I know and love.
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process with a new student is to get to know them and how they view the subject that they are working on. Whether they view it as a passion that just needs more help to fully develop, a burden to be overcome, or something else entirely. Once I have begun to know this information I like to begin by introducing the basic ideas around the subject or topic at hand to get a better grasp around the fundamentals. This helps me learn who the student is as a person and how they like to learn and interact with the subject so that the relationship is built and the way to approach the subject can be improved for each of the individual students
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a large background in mathematics. I am pursuing a mathematics minor and a computer science degree. I have taken up to Calculus III, linear algebra, and statistics at the college level. I have been at the top of my class throughout high school and college. math has always come easily to me, and I love to share and learn with people while improving my own skills.
Hi thereMy name is Justin C. and I am an experienced tutor. If I’ve learned anything in the last four years, it’s that every student is different. Some students just want to get the homework done and need help facing psychological barriers with math. Other students are very curious and want to really get to the bottom of why certain formulas work the way they do.
I am a chef. A good cook always thinks about their type of customer and what they would enjoy eating the most. They will offer thoughtful suggestions for those new to the menu but will never shove the meal down the customer’s throat. A master chef will always take everything the customer says as a valuable gem that can guide the chef into offering the best meal possible for the customer.
My job as a tutor (I lied about the chef part, I just love to use analogies) is to understand my students in every way I can, and with lots of background knowledge and experience, I can serve them an experience that will be best fit to their individual needs.
