I teach Math up to AP level and have had great results always. I have also been an examiner for UK International and OCR examination boards for Math exams. The best part of my job is making Maths enjoyable and accessible to my students. It is hugely rewarding when your students achieve their potential grades and progress to the next stage of their academic life. I am very passionate about my subject. Before teaching, I worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer in a Software house specialising in Banking software. Mr. V. graduated from St. John’s University in 2000 with a B. S. in Journalism and went on to complete a M. S. in TESOL at St. John’s University in 2004. This will be his 20th year as a professional educator—and his first teaching in Delano.
Mr. V. was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and attended schools in the Bronx and Manhattan. He enjoys graphic design and playing video games with his 4 sons.
