I'm currently a sophomore in college at the California State University of Fullerton. I currently work as a supplemental instruction leader for a college algebra class. I've always gotten A's in my math classes and I have a good understanding of the logic and basics that go into mathematics.
My experience includes being a peer tutor for people in my classes for two years, tutoring the ages of 7-14 for one and a half years, and serving as a peer counselor assisting peers in college applications which required tutoring and counseling training. I am passionate about education and helping others succeed. My goal is to find ways to incorporate different learning styles into various activities to ensure everyone understands their material rather than just be told to learn it. With any of my past or future experience, I hope to make a big step towards my goal and know that expanding what I know can be accomplished. For example, in my University (University of California-Davis), I learn how to care for animals, network, write journalism articles and creative pieces, and most importantly, teach others various subjects. I am eager to learn, adapt, engage, and, most of all, be a great tutor.
I would prefer/ want you to use my gmail ***@*** because that will be eaiser for me we will be doing google meets everytime i would want you to have everything ready before we start if you need extra help but it is over we can schudle something and help you out later but it would cost a little more I will help with any other subjects if you need help in them it will not cost anything if you are done with your homework that i helped you with and you finished early and have for time we could work on that but i might not know how to do some of them.
For the parents if you can send me the money on paypal or in cash i will accept that i don't really do checks but i will if you can't do it any other way.
we will have different google meet links everytime so it will not be the same one as last time.
I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from SDSU and was on the pre-med track so have a lot of experience with Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology. I was frequently the one holding review sessions for my peers the night before an exam. In the following years, I attained about 3 years of tutoring experience. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a concept or theory click with a student. I have also learned to appreciate that each student has a unique learning style and am very capable of tailoring my teaching style to their wants and needs.
Hi! I am a high school student who is really good with tutoring. I have tutored many kids in the past and would love to help out. I accept payment through Paypal. Thanks!
Hello, I'm Anna. I can tutor/teach basic math, general writing, and any type of handwriting. I have three children that I have helped teach, and I am a branch manager at Chase. I have good convorsational skills so please come to me with any or all your educational needs.
Hello, my name is Connor www.*** I have always enjoyed mathematics and physics. I am currently attending college at Cal Poly Pomona to receive a bachelors degree in applied mathematics, in order to become a math professor. I have been a paid tutor for 3 years, but I have tutored friends and family members since the sixth grade, so I thought this would be a great job for me. I like to use imagery and real life examples to help students not just know how to do the problem, but to understand WHY it works. I work well with kids and I love all kinds of animals. Although my main expertise is mathematics I do have a very good understanding of entry level physics. I am available Mondays and Wednesdays from 6am to 11am, also Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm to 6pm. For more information please contact me through my phone: ( tel: ***
I have taught two students before, one for Spanish and the other for math. I can teach students of all ages, and I also have experience being a TA at a nearby Chinese school. I have also worked as a volunteer for a Microsoft program that focuses on teaching kids how to code. I've maintained a high GPA for all 4 years, and I have also participated in a host family program in Japan for 3 weeks, so I am very familiar and passionate about the language. I am a native speaker of both English and Chinese as well.
I have been learning Japanese, in a school setting, for three years. I have learned outside of school through various apps and friends. I have maintained a 4 .0 (sometimes 4 .5)gpa throughout all of middle and high school. Last year, I helped a japanese foreign exchange student with every subject. Throughout the school years, many students have asked me for assistance with their homework- I guess you could say I've been tutoring for free! So, I thought I would start getting paid to do something I love. I also offer childcare services for 0-12 years old.
I am a current junior at Portola High and I am currently enrolled in Calculus BC. I have been tutoring at my high school for the past 2 years. I have also gone to UCI COSMOS, one of the top stem programs, to learn more about math and science.
I am a Professional Tutor for Core Education for K-12 Elementary, High School and College Bound Students. Key areas I tutor in English and/or Spanish are:
having fun with the Language Arts: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing
playing with numbers for basic through Higher Math: Algebra, Logic, Geometry
S. T. E. M. Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Camps
High School (ISEE) and College (SAT) prep for College bound students
creating possibilities in adult educational and career advancement.
I use my knowledge of long-term learning to do more than tutor, but to also foster a love of learning. My goal is to help my students maintain what they learn well after the lessons are over.
"Maybe you can stay for ... 8 more minutes." - Kindergarten student
"She knows a lot about a lot of things." - 7th-grade student
"I couldn't have gotten an A without you." - College studnet
If this sounds like the kind of tutor you want to work with, then book an appointment. I look forward to meeting you!
I am 23 years old currently attending Loma Linda University for a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. I received my bachelor of science degree from Franklin Pierce University in 3 years. Due to my areas of study, my tutoring strengths revolve around science but I am also available and highly capable of also tutoring in English/Language Arts, basic math, study skills, and resume building.
Math is something I specialize in because it is all about recognizing patterns and analyzing it to figure out more difficult problems. I have helped students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, SAT and ACT math under a year, but I have helped my fellow peers in the subjects to better understand and remember the subject matter.
I know the best way to tutor and I think the best tutor should help the student not ever need a tutor again. I provide the first lesson free, so see if I'm a good fit and I will be available until you don't need me anymore.
I am a premedical student pursuing to get a bachelor degree from UCLA by 2020 and willing to tutor in physics, math, chemistry and biology up to college level.
Hello my name is Sheneice and I'm a UCSB Alumni. I'm a math nerd and love solving problems. I started work in public accounting with Deloitte for 3 years and 2 years after that in Accounting/Finance. I currently run my own business in entertainment.
Hello! I am about to graduate from UCLA with Summa Cum Laude in Spanish & Communications. I happy to help students in all levels of Spanish (Lang/Hist/Lit), History, and English (Comp/Lit). I am an enthusiastic tutor with over 4 years of experience in the following subjects. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to commute! I always go the extra length with my students by making sure to support them in analyzing their course material and challenging them through personalized study aids!
Hi! My name is Chloe S., I'm 16, and I will be going into my junior year of high school this fall. I have a 3 . 9 GPA and I excel in math, but also would be willing to tutor in any subject that I think that I could help you succeed at. I am serious, but easy going and easy to work with. :)
I'm a private math tutor with a BS degree in mathematics. I tutor all math up to Math Analysis and Pre-calculus. I also tutor all three sections of the SAT. I've been tutoring for 19 years. My strength is finding a way to explain a difficult concept in simpler terms that work for each particular student. I have the necessary equipment to tutor online and make it just like I'm sitting next to the student.
