Hello! My name is Emma, I am 12 years old, and I am in 7th grade. I came to Tutor Extra to make a little extra money on the side (only $10 an hour!) and to help preschoolers through 3rd graders with Math, Language Arts, and behavior. I only do remote learning through Zoom. I believe I am qualified to be a tutor for your child because I have been getting straight A's ever since Kindergarten. In addition, I have very good learning techniques, people skills, and an open schedule! I work Mon-Fri from 11 am-4 pm, but I will let you know if I am busy on a certain day. If you are a parent/caretaker and need any advice, feel free to contact me! I have good techniques for potty training, getting rid of pacifiers, tantrums, discipline, self esteem boosting, and more! Email is ***@*** I hope to be able to tutor your child!

I am a Horseback Riding instructor and professional trainer, as well as assisting in the home schooling of my younger brother for math and English for the last two years, who has a form of dyslexia. I also have experience tutoring up through ninth grade science. I am very comfortable teaching through Algebra 1 and into Geometry, and have a supporting resource, Teaching Textbook, to help your child fully understand the curriculum. Book reports and essays have always been my strong suit, as I enjoy drawing ideas out of the writer and helping to make the topic something the writer can get excited about and have fun writing it!

I'm Kristina and I've been an honor student for 3 years now. I am advanced in all of my classes and simply love school. I love to tutor people younger than me because I'm close to there age and I remember how much I used to struggle. I love making the experience kids have in school worth it all. I am also a certified babysitter. I have all my CPR training. I work with kids ages 6 months to 11 years old. I'm a girl scout in the heart of Pennsylvania. Ask any of my friends and they will say I'm responsible and reliable.
As a bonus, I'm fun but know when to get serious!

Hi! I'm Lauren and I will be a high school junior in the fall. I have a passion for teaching and working with children. I also take a number of AP and honors classes in school.
I am currently offering tutoring sessions online and in-person. In person sessions will have some restrictions, though, due to COVID-19. You can come to me, or I can come to you!
I also have plenty of experience with children. Including-
-YMCA Junior Camp Counselor
-Child Development Class: Students involved with the class get the opportunity to create and teach lessons to preschoolers.
-Classroom Volunteer: I volunteered in an elementary school classroom daily after school during the 2019-2020 school year. I assisted during their math period.
-Reading Buddies: At my local library, I was involved with a program in which I met with a third grader weekly to practice reading and writing skills.
-Nursery Attendant: I worked in a church nursery alongside my sister where we supervised children during the church service.
I would love to work with your child, and I'd love to hear from you soon! Please reach out with any questions or concerns! Thank you!

I'm Rachel! I recently graduated with a bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire. I graduated with a www.*** GPA. This upcoming spring I will be going back to University to earn a masters in elementary education. Additionally, I’m also certified in EFL through a 120 hour comprehensive course through myTEFL. I have been teaching ESL since July 2020, on an online platform to young students abroad. I absolutely love teaching and being able to support student’s educational journey. In addition to being an ESL instructor, I have also had many tutoring experiences. For three years I was a tutor/mentor in beginner level Spanish, reading, writing, study skills and elementary mathematics for an extracurricular program called Upward Bound.
I am happy to assist and support students, especially during recent circumstances and remote learning. In my tutoring experience I have always focused on a growth mindset as well as a flexible approach that allows students to find what works for them. Through my time tutoring and teaching I have worked with students with a wide variety of learning styles, and through exploring and educating them on their learning styles, we were able to better navigate what the best method was to help them succeed in the subject they were struggling with. I am easy to reach and my schedule is very open and flexible. I’m looking forward to helping students in anyway I can.
