***DOING ONLINE LESSONS ONLY*** I have Masters in Maths and I am Former Head of Mathematics of a high achieving school. I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 20+ years. I teach Math up to AP level and have had great results always. I have also been an examiner for UK International and OCR examination boards for Math exams. The best part of my job is making Maths enjoyable and accessible to my students. It is hugely rewarding when your students achieve their potential grades and progress to the next stage of their academic life. I am very passionate about my subject. Before teaching, I worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer in a Software house specialising in Banking software. In my classes I pay close attention to each individual learner and curate materials according to their need. I use all kind of digital tools, prepared modules, worksheet and academic journals to make my classes more effective. Sometimes the best way to learn any topic is by working problems and I enjoy showing students how to solve problems with step-by-step approaches. Accounting can be a difficult subject to learn, but I believe it can be taught better. That’s why I love teaching and sharing practical examples when it comes to accounting. My goal is to ensure at the end of each sessions, you can learn something valuable and relevant to your needs and can apply the materials on the own.

Mr. V. graduated from St. John’s University in 2000 with a B. S. in Journalism and went on to complete a M. S. in TESOL at St. John’s University in 2004. This will be his 20th year as a professional educator—and his first teaching in Delano.
Mr. V. was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and attended schools in the Bronx and Manhattan. He enjoys graphic design and playing video games with his 4 sons. He believes he has the responsibility as an active agent to close the achievement gap and was inspired to relocate his entire family from NYC to prepare and support scholars to and through college.
