I am a teacher of 12 years of elementary and middle school. I have also tutored students from Pre-K to High School. Previously I have also worked in finance in the Mid-West. I believe that my greatest strengths are my strong commitment to connecting and working with students to rise to and exceed all of the academic goals and targets set for them.

Hello! My name is Sydney and I absolutely love math. However, I know many people don't enjoy it quite as much and I have found a passion in helping those who don't, learn to at least 'like' it. :) I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in teaching mathematics. I have tutored for 4 years. I had the opportunity to teach 6th grade math for one year in Northern Utah and thoroughly enjoyed the students and teaching there. My husband is attending medical school and I get to be a stay-at-home mom. Please message me if you are interested in receiving help with math. I can be flexible with pay. I am a recent transplant to Green Valley from New www.*** ; I worked in New York City in the South Bronx for one year, and came away very grateful for work the next 20 years in Westchester County, www.*** ; I taught K-4, and really loved the older www.*** ; I have two Masters degrees: New York University, Liberal Studies, and Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, in www.*** ; I am also a classically trained singer (Arizona State University) and after moving to New York, my performances there included leading roles with the Village Light Opera Group and Connecticut Light www.*** ; I was the winner of the Center for Contemporary Opera International Competition in 1990, which awarded me a debut recital at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie www.*** ; Although she is retired from elementary school teaching, singing and music have remained a major part of my www.*** ; I brought a lot of music into my classrooms.
