Hello everyone! My name is Abigail S. and I would like to extend educational services to families who may be experiencing difficulties during the 2020-21 school www.*** ;Many health departments around the country have recommended all districts begin the school year remotely, and this can cause some problems for many families who may have essential workers in the household, multiple students, or create fear and worry for parents who do not feel they are cut out to help their students succeed in the way a teacher cannot replace. Whatever the reason, I would like to help!
I am a 2019 graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Music Performance. I am a substitute teacher for Tacoma Public Schools and was intending on working with them again this school year, however that may not be the case. I also work as a production manager and educator for an area youth theatre program. I teach clarinet and saxophone lessons on the side.
I specialize in working with children and young adults with special needs such as: Specific Learning Disabilities, Neurological Disorders ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders Dyslexia, Pervasive Developmental Delays,Down's Syndrome Sensory Integration Disorders, Communication Disorders I am a certified elementary and special education teacher for K-12, with 25 years of experience. I use a variety of techniques that facilitate learning and growth by engaging students of all ages and abilities in research-based instructional methods. These methods work by combining body-brain connected movements and learning experiences, allowing the student to grow to their full potential. Learning strategies are individualized to meet the learning style and needs of each student. The Learning Switch Connection has been operating since 2006 providing in-home and online based tutoring, behavioral and social skills training, and home school supervision.
Hello, I am Noora and I am currnely a high school senior. I have excelled in all of my advanced/AP classes in high school, and I currnlty have a GPA of www.*** (on a www.*** scale). Regarding tutering, I am willing to tutor in Math from elmentrary school all the way to Alegbra 2 and even Trignometry. I can also tutor in English and Arabic.
I've been involved in education for almost 15 years. After gaining graduate teaching certification back in Missouri, I've since taught at the high school and middle school levels in subjects ranging from history to religion to film, but my primary area of emphasis is theatre and speech. I'm currently head of the Drama program at Bethlehem Lutheran School in Kennewick, Washington, where I've guided the program from inception to the highest enrollment rate for any elective in the school. We've developed original plays for middle grade performers, some of which have been published and are regularly performed by students all over the world. A friend recommended online teaching and turoring, as a fun way to meet students from different backgrounds and it seems like a great vehicle for education. I have a dynamic and expressive way of communicating, I love meeting people from different backgrounds, and I think I'm well suited for helping remote students thrive, even from thousands of miles away. I'd love to be considered for any other subject matter that might fit my background.
Hi everyone!
My name is Yana! I am college student slash tutor based out of Eastern Washington and I love to teach and help people learn and grow! I am going for a degree in social work, but currently studying psychology right now. It is my passion to help people, especially those still learning, to find a way to make education personal, fun and helpful! I teach many age ranges going from early Elementary all the way up to high school and freshmen in college. I try to respond to my tutor students as SOON as I see their messages but sometimes it doesn't always work out that way! So I am going to put my email here ***@*** in case I don't get back to you within 12 hours. I try my best to do so but you know how life is!
I have a flexible class schedule at the moment but I tend to have classes mid-morning to early afternoon (about 10 am to 12:30 pm) as of right now. Things change every quarter though so but I am very flexible and I can even work on weekends! I hope to hear from you all soon and we can make something work!

I have a doctorate degree which involved environmental science, sociology, psychology, design, and public policy. Further, I studied a Master of Environmental Science; hold an MBA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance.
I have taught business, marketing, strategy, intercultural communication and negotiation courses to undergraduate and graduate students for 4 years.
My favorite subjects are Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, and Environmental Science.
I was born in Uruguay and raised in Argentina before moving to the United States for college. While I was here, I tutored Spanish to a variety of learners varying from ages 5-70. I have taught over 100 students privately, have led over 10 small group classes, and have taught for the public school system for three www.*** ;I find languages to be fascinating. Each language is shaped and formed by its culture. The culture infiltrates its grammatical structure, pronunciation, and idiomatic expressions. I love discovering how each language represents the culture it was born in, how it evolved over time, or how it is currently changing in its sub-cultures. I have a love for my language and want to impart it to others who desire to learn it. I want your experience to be enjoyable and profitable. I want to encourage you in this process, to encourage you to go a little farther than you have before, and to help you understand and make sense of this beautiful language. What I love most about teaching this language is when I see students’ eyes light up because they have grasped a new concept and are naturally excited by this new understanding. I love watching my students be proud of the work that they have done and the ways in which they have improved. I hope to be able to provide a dynamic in which you can fully grasp the Spanish language.
