Hi! I am a teen and want to help tutor. I can help with learning how to read and understand what is being read. I can help with using context clues to figure out words and how to increase reading speed and flow. I can help with very simple reading for younger kids and more complex reading for older ones. I can help even with just reading letters and putting together small words leading up to making simple and short sentences. For math I can help with how to understand basic math such as subtraction, divison, addition mulptppication, parentheses and exponents. I can help with the math term pemdas. I can help your child go from very easy and small math problems to more diffcult and complex ones. I can adapt to your childs way of learning and provide a unique way of teaching and help with needs to be understood. Sometimes teachers teach how most of the kids in class know how to learn but not every kid can learn the way they teach. This sometimes means that kids need extra help learning the way they learn
I am excited you are here! I am a college student at Michigan State majoring in Human Biology. I aspire to become a Pediatrican and love working with kids! I am looking forward to having a session with you :)
I am a former Chicag Teacher providing in-person tutoring sessions tailored to a child's academic needs in foundational skills in Reading. I believe in teaching strategies so students can apply to academics and beyond. Providing and creating resources that students can touch and feel is key to learning at such a young age. I teach the child first, we work together, and then the child independently completes activities.
I am Sindhu, an undergraduate at The Ohio State University. I just finished my second year of college and am majoring in Neuroscience. I have been tutoring elementary and middle school kids for almost a year in Math and love it!
I am currently an English As A Second Language teacher in an elementary school in the suburbs. Hello! I am excited at the prospect of furthering my educational experience through tutoring. My strengths include building rapport with students to gage exactly what they need, teaching writing and the writing process, analyzing literature, and helping students find their own voice in their writing. I am beginning my next adventure into education this fall as I begin the school psychology program at Capital University then. I am willing to travel within reason, but with the pandemic I am currently most comfortable with remote tutoring when possible. I do have a background check that was completed a year ago and I can make avaialable upon request. I do not have a criminal record, I just do not have immediate access to scanning/saving documents currently. I am working on obtaining a more current FBI and BCI background check, but I am still working on finding institutions who are available to fingerprint right now. I look forward to working with students again, and I hope I can be an asset to their academic careers!
I have been babyysitting, nannying, and tutoring for several years with children ages birth through fourteen years of age. I have been completing my student teaching internships the last two years and have had experience with preschool, kindergarten, and primary grades in public, private, and urban schools. I love children and am willing to adjust pricing. I correlate my tutoring skills with school standards and home standards by setting achievable and realistic goals through hands on learning and activities where the child will beneift not only academic skills, but personable skills as well.
I recently graduated from Texas A&M with a PhD in neuroscience. There, I unofficially tutored undergraduated and graduate students in a variety of biology subjects, primarily neuroscience, anatomy, and histology. Before that, in college, I was a biology tutor specializing in introductory biology, molecular biology, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology.
In addition to science and biology, I love helping people learn to read and develop their language skills. Reading is a beautiful and integral part of interacting with the world around us, and I enjoy patiently guiding people of all ages into a greater understanding of the written word.

Hi! My name's T, I'm a college student studying to be a teacher. I love teaching, learning, and helping others. My hours and rates are fairly flexible and open to discussion. I've been tutoring since I was in eighth grade, but officially I'd put it around 2-3 years ago. I make lesson plans, worksheets, study guides - whatever you or your child need to succeed! I also like to keep both the student and parent updated on progress, assignments, and anything important I notice. I look forward to working with you!

As a current college student, i am eager to help apply some of my teaching knowledge in order to help someone in need!
Hello! I am currently a senior in high school, and school has always been a strong suit of mine. I have always been good at, and passionate for, helping people. I have been babysitting and tutoring children since I was 14 years old, so I've learned how to interact with kids and parents alike. I will be graduating from my high school soon, and will be moving on to Northwood University for business! Don't be afraid to reach out to me and ask questions, and I'm excited to be helping you!
