I love children. I have been a Montessori teacher for 7 years. I have 21 students ages 3-6. As well as being a trained Montessorian, I have my NYS license. I have a degree in childhood education birth to grade 6 with a concentration in Mathematics and a Master’s in teaching literacy birth to grade 12.
Hello, my name is Svetlana. I have been working with children for past 20 years and I love it! I have a Master's Degree in Education/ Special Education K-6. I have experience with pre-K through 6th grade both in classroom and in one-on-one settings. Currently, I am teaching math to Kindergarten to 4th grade children in an afterschool/ weekend school setting. Please let me know if you would like to connect. Thanks.
I have been teaching for 5 years now. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade, and in addition to that I have been tutoring after work. I have experience tutoring in math, language arts, and writing.
I completed my undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey, where I double majored in Elementary Education and Psychology. I also have my Masters in school counseling from The College of New Jersey. While in college, I worked at Bright Horizons Family Development center working in the toddler and preschool rooms for about 5 years. After graduation, I taught basic skills literacy and mathematics for 3 years, working with 1st-5th grade students. I have been teaching 1st grade for the past five years in East Windsor. I am happily married and have a 10-year old daughter who is in 5th grade. I have had experience with several families tutoring children in reading and math, ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I love to read and spend time with my family. My passion has always been to help students reach their highest potential.
I went to school to become a teacher and completed almost all of my classes. Due to personal issues, I was not able to complete my student teaching. However, I did get all A's and B's in all of my other education classes. I also went for special education, so I have that knowledge. That is why I am going alternate route. I am very enthusiastic and dedicated to children. I currently work in a school as an aide. I have worked with Preschool all the way through eighth grade. I would like to work with students in sixth grade or younger. I did my student teaching in 3rd and 4th grades general education and a resource room that was first through fourth grade. I am very familiar with the Common Core State Standards. I am looking forward to helping your child!
Hi! I'm Lauren and I will be a high school junior in the fall. I have a passion for teaching and working with children. I also take a number of AP and honors classes in school.
I am currently offering tutoring sessions online and in-person. In person sessions will have some restrictions, though, due to COVID-19. You can come to me, or I can come to you!
I also have plenty of experience with children. Including-
-YMCA Junior Camp Counselor
-Child Development Class: Students involved with the class get the opportunity to create and teach lessons to preschoolers.
-Classroom Volunteer: I volunteered in an elementary school classroom daily after school during the 2019-2020 school year. I assisted during their math period.
-Reading Buddies: At my local library, I was involved with a program in which I met with a third grader weekly to practice reading and writing skills.
-Nursery Attendant: I worked in a church nursery alongside my sister where we supervised children during the church service.
I would love to work with your child, and I'd love to hear from you soon! Please reach out with any questions or concerns! Thank you!
