My teaching method is tailored to every student’s learning style. I can give lectures, help with homework, or work problems alongside students.
To learn something it is helpful to be exposed to the material in many different ways and formats; This helps to strengthen neural pathways so the information is easy to recall and utilize. Moreover, I try to answer questions and teach using many different mediums --visual, auditory, and analogical. As a tutor, I am always learning during every session about how to better serve students’ needs to ensure utmost satisfaction.

My name is Alex and I am a fifteen yearold girl who goes to South River High School. Most of my classes are either AP or Honors and I am trying to graduate a year early. I am currently trying to figur e out what I would like to do for the rest of my life and I believe that it might be teaching children. I love kids and have two younger siblings (one is currently 9 and the other is 7), when school is in session I love helping them with their homework. I am especially good at math and art. I'm Kristina and I've been an honor student for 3 years now. I am advanced in all of my classes and simply love school. I love to tutor people younger than me because I'm close to there age and I remember how much I used to struggle. I love making the experience kids have in school worth it all. I am also a certified babysitter. I have all my CPR training. I work with kids ages 6 months to 11 years old. I'm a girl scout in the heart of Pennsylvania. We have been dedicated to providing high-quality temporary and occasional babysitting for children of all ages for over 30 years. The rate is $22/hour with a 4 hour minimum; the sitter is paid on the 1/2 hour after the minimum. After 10pm, there is a travel surcharge of $15. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a $45 fee. If you cancel with less than 2 hours notice, there will be a fee equal to the booking minimum ($88). You do pay the sitter directly, at the end of the booking (they do prefer cash). All Pinch Sitters have at least 3 years experience and at least 2 recent childcare references. All Pinch Sitters are personally interviewed and submit to a full reference, criminal and background check. All Pinch Sitters have extensive experience in many diverse settings: daycare/pre-K programs, K-12 classrooms, after school/summer camps, art therapy, and children's theater, dance, music, and gymnastics classes. Our experienced, responsible, reliable, and loving staff design fun and enriching activities while making sure that your children are safe and protected. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 8am-5pm. We do take same day requests and ask for a two hour turn around time (if a sitter is available). There is no pre-registration - we take your information at the time of your first booking.
