Hello! I am excited at the prospect of furthering my educational experience through tutoring. My strengths include building rapport with students to gage exactly what they need, teaching writing and the writing process, analyzing literature, and helping students find their own voice in their writing. I am beginning my next adventure into education this fall as I begin the school psychology program at Capital University then. I am willing to travel within reason, but with the pandemic I am currently most comfortable with remote tutoring when possible. I do have a background check that was completed a year ago and I can make avaialable upon request. I do not have a criminal record, I just do not have immediate access to scanning/saving documents currently. I am working on obtaining a more current FBI and BCI background check, but I am still working on finding institutions who are available to fingerprint right now. I look forward to working with students again, and I hope I can be an asset to their academic careers!
I am a Michigan teacher, certified K-5 all subjects and 6-8 in Biology and History, that worked in public school classrooms for over 17 years. I am passionate about my craft, but a permanent physical disability has left me homebound. I'm hoping the opportunity to tutor online will allow me to continue to help students in meaningful ways.
Hi! My name is Celeste, and I am passionate about helping people! Whether you're learning how to use adjectives and adverbs or how to write an essay, I'm excited to come alongside you and help you meet your goals. With a Bachelor's in English and previous teaching/tutoring experience, I am committed to giving you the best advice and instruction I possibly can while teaching you to think independently and problem-solve on your own.
I am available to meet you in a public location, such as a library or coffee shop, in the Beavecreek area. I am also available for online meetings. Looking forward to it!
I am retired after teaching elementary grades for 32 years. I have experience in kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I currently teach English online to children. I enjoy working with children one-on-one. I am married and have 9 furry children.
Hello! My name is Gaby, and I'm a first generation Mexican-American Chicagoan. I'm a Bilingual Special Education major with over five years of experience teaching a wide range of age groups and www.*** ;The subjects I'm strongest in are Language Arts (reading and writing), Spanish, Applied Mathematics, and History. I have experience working with students ages 4-22. I firmly believe in real-life application and creativity as methods of teaching. The process of learning should be an organic one in which everyone's uniqueness should be encouraged and respected.
