Additional information and experience - Makyla Harvey
I am a junior at Centennial High School and have been enrolled in Advanced Placement(AP) and Gifted and Talented(GT) courses since my freshman year. Throughout middle school, I had interests in math and science classes specifically, but by 8th grade, I was in above grade placement classes in every subject. When I began high school I quickly got involved in theatre arts, videography, photography, and charitable clubs. Although I was forced to retire gymnastics after ten years due to injury, I was able to participate in Varsity Cheerleading my Sophomore year. Academics hold great value to me, specifically the real-world applications of what is taught in school. |
