I have been tutoring fellow students for over twenty years. Professionally, I have worked for The Princeton Review, Kaplan, and private tutoring companies. I specialize in math, science, English, and test preparation. My degrees are in Psychology and Biology, with a minor in mathematics. I tailor each meeting with students to suit his/her learning needs because we all learn and grow at different paces. Typically, I guide students to success not only with what they are currently learning, but also help strengthen any skills that are lacking from previous lessons and also introduce new concepts. I help studnets understand the "why" behind equations rather than just memorizing them. Real-world application and examples also make concepts more relevant and understandable to the student.
