Also I have tutered privately from basic math to college algebra. I love math. I love tutering it. I found it intrinsically satisfying to see the light come on in a students's eyes. I would love to help you conquer your math fears!
Learning math can be really fun. I especially like giving my mentees the full picture of how things work. if you want to know not just WHAT to do, but also how you get it, and why it works that way, and many easy technique to understand the concepts. we'll be a geart match!

I currently work as a special education teacher which I have been doing for the past 3 years. I was first hired at first as a substitute in 2016 and worked my way into a full time position the following year. Midway through the year, I took over for a teacher on an interim basis and it helped lead me to the full-time position I currently work in. I received my master’s degree in special education from Salem State in 2018 and during the past few years I thought about going back to school for an advanced degree at some point. I recently enrolled in Liberty University’s Online Doctorate in Education Program, so this is something I will be working towards in the upcoming years.
In my current position, I teach science classes in both the sub-separate and co-taught setting and I’ve also taught numerous different subjects over the past few years; including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Discrete Math, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Although I currently teach science, I consider math to be my stronger subject and I also possess a middle school math license. I have enjoyed teaching different courses as it has broadened my knowledge of different subject areas and made me into a better teacher. I also have a passion for coaching sports; I coach baseball, football, and basketball at the high school level.
I have tutored students within the school the past few years and I have enjoyed the experience. As a tutor, I am patient and I always make sure the students work their way towards an answer, I never give them the answer until they work their way through it first. It’s important for students to know the answer to a question, but it’s more important for them to know how they got the answer to that question, especially in math which is what I have mostly tutored in the past. Thank you for taking the time to review my application and I hope you consider me for this position.

Hi there! I'm a sophomore in college and have been tutoring kids since I was 16. Originally, it was just a way for me to earn a little extra money but over the years, I fell in love with helping people learn. I ended up building relationships with the individuals I worked with and looking forward to our sessions! There's something incredibly satisfying about being able to share a breakthrough moment with someone and knowing you've impacted their www.*** ;
My rates are not set in stone, and I'm more than happy to discuss them as these times are tough for everyone. Hopefully I can ease a bit of stress in your and your child's life by helping with homework, education, organizational skills, and planning in the odd and challenging environment we are faced with now.

I hope everyone is healthy and okay during these unprecedented times. My name is Brad www.*** I am a freshman at Boston College and a former Needham High School student. I have studied high level mathematics and have been a math tutor since freshman year of high school. I am available for tutoring over Zoom. I can help with students in fourth to ninth grade and I can assist in any format: working through problem sets, answering any questions, teaching concepts, etc. This tutoring service will help your child with getting their work done and keeping them on task. I have also received positive feedback that this provides structure during the day for students. My schedule is super flexible as I am stuck in my house. My fee is $40 per hour. If you would like to talk to a reference, let me know!

Math comes easy to me, teaching it is as well a breeze, I cater to all types of students taking my time with them till they understand the concept through written out notes and very well detailed examples. Leaving the student with a well grasped concept as well as being able to complete similar problems. I've taught my teachers class in the 10th grade Algebra 2 Honors and Geometry Honors I've never failed a math class and I'm in the 11th grade.

I am a Horseback Riding instructor and professional trainer, as well as assisting in the home schooling of my younger brother for math and English for the last two years, who has a form of dyslexia. I also have experience tutoring up through ninth grade science. I am very comfortable teaching through Algebra 1 and into Geometry, and have a supporting resource, Teaching Textbook, to help your child fully understand the curriculum. Book reports and essays have always been my strong suit, as I enjoy drawing ideas out of the writer and helping to make the topic something the writer can get excited about and have fun writing it!
