I was also an ESL teacher for ITutorGroup last summer. I taught ESL to all ages that were one on one and also in groups. I have tutored for Wyzant for the subject of Spanish. I can still tutor Spanish but it has been awhile. I've homeschooled my own children and taught my oldest child how to read.

Hello. My name is Kevin. A few years ago, I stopped teaching calculus to start my own business. I still have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping students. Experience has taught me that nothing is too hard for committed students and that anybody can learn math.
I have eight years experience tutoring and teaching math from middle school to college. This includes three years as a college professor. I have experience with all topics up to differential equations and linear algebra. I have worked with all types of students.

I attend Reinhardt University as a full time dual enrollment student. My grades are wonderful seeing as I have a 3. 8 gpa that is going to boost soon and a 30 on my act which I am trying to improve. I try really hard with anything academic so even if I forget something I will not stop until I rediscover it. Many comment on how mature and responsible I am for my age. Math is my strong suit as I currently have a 102 in college pre-calculus. Sciences (especially biology) are really easy for me also . I am 100% confident in having the ability to effectively tutor. I will charge $30/hour, and I will charge half off the first lesson.

When I instruct students, I personalize the lesson around what they need improvement in, but I also try to incorporate the topics they are talented in and enjoy. This way, they won't be discouraged by an overly intense focus on what they do not understand, and will be encouraged to enjoy the subject. Regardless of whether I teach English or Mathematics, I don't think I can do it well if the students feel forced to learn. I strive to make classes engaging, relatable and fun so that the students care about what they are www.*** ;
When I teach a mathematical concept I want to teach students why those concepts work, not only how they www.*** ; They should understand the applications of the concepts and how they tie in with other topics they might study in the future. This will hone their critical thinking skills and make them better at math, rather than better at following a set of www.*** ;
Regardless of what I'm teaching in English, I like to have the students practice writing. Incorporating grammar into writing will make them understand grammatical rules better, improve their reading comprehension skills and set a good foundation for developing persuasive writing skills in high www.*** ;Another great way to improve English Skills is to read more, so I will look for books I think the student will learn from and www.*** ;
I will assign homework if the student wants it. My students are welcome to email/text me outside of class, and I would share my phone number and email after we started classes together. First class free :)

Can tutor in almost any middle or high school class. I started college with 18 credit hours under my belt because I was able to pass multiple AP classes during high school. My junior and senior year my GPA was well above 4,0 for all four semesters.

Hey! My name's Walid and I recently graduated from Alpharetta High School. I've taken up interests in the mathematical field as well as reading comprehension, but nothing beats my love for reaching out and communicating with people. I'm also a huge believer in teaching in a relaxed and light hearted environment so you'll always see me with a cup of tea while teaching a skill haha.
