I am a speech-language pathology graduate student working to complete my master's degree in August 2021. I have taken a special interest in neuroanatomy and physiology of the human body. I have 2 years of experience working with children who have special needs in a clinical and school setting, as well as adults with acquired communication disorders.
Experienced teacher with 10+ yrs. working with K-8 as a teacher, private tutor and Director of After School programs for school districts in Santa Barbara and Carpinteria, I have a master’s in child psychology w/a BA in Speech therapy & Audiology.
I have the desire, ambition, clinical experience and education w/expertise in students with ADHD, ADD, SED and behavior modification. Students who do well academically but have lost interest and lack motivation to complete assignments and study for tests.

Throughout my career I have been credited with the successful creation and implementation of After School Programs, homework help clubs for elementary school, tutoring and mentoring services. I have planned and organized youth prevention, extended learning programs, Individual and Group Counseling and private & group tutoring with expertise in therapeutic interventions that promote positive individual and group participation. I am a speech language pathologist for Waterbury Schools. Additionally, I manage a private speech therapy clinic on the weekends. I've worked in schools for over 3 years in NYC, California, and Connecticut. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Adelphi University, and my Masters Degree from www.*** strengths are English and Sciences. I also tutor students with college pre, SATs, and Personal Statements.

I currently work in an elementary school with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders. During the Summer months, I run the Speech program at a Special Needs camp for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.
