I began tutoring in 1999 and have been doing this as my primary income source for over 20 years with over 15 of that as a full time www.*** ; I have accumulated over 20,000 hours of face to face tutoring time across a wide variety of subjects.
I am comfortable tutoring all middle school or high school mathematics or physics courses, the majority of lower division undergraduate math courses (including all courses for a standard STEM degree) and select upper division undergraduate math courses.
I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and am happy to tutor using a mode of your choice at a location of your choice.

I have been teaching for about 5 years and have been tutoring for about 15 years. I have a master's in mathematics so I am well versed in all fields of math and also in statistics. My name is Meghan, and I am an analyst who enjoys teaching and learning mathematics. I graduated from Providence College in 2016 with a B. A. in English and Mathematics, and I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2019 with a M. S. in Mathematics. I have one year of experience in teaching Business Calculus and have tutored students of all age groups in courses like: Algebra, College Algebra, Calculus, and Precalculus.
When I first became interested in Mathematics, I struggled to understand abstract concepts, how to make sense out of applications, and how to prepare for exams. It took a lot of time, practice, and diligence to become a better mathematician. As someone who struggled with mathematics, I understand how daunting math can be. I understand what it feels like to think you understand a concept but then feel completely confused on a homework assignment or an exam. I love helping others not only understand mathematics but also enjoy it. I put my students first and work tirelessly to make sure they meet their personal goals.
Having taught diverse groups of students, including students with varying backgrounds in Mathematics, I know that not everyone learns mathematics the same way. My lessons are personalized, thorough, and designed to meet your priorities. I take an intuitive approach on teaching; I aim to help you build intuition on concepts so that you understand how to apply them. This means that I will spend time helping you understand the logic behind certain ideas rather than simply throwing specific problems your way.
