I'm very passionate about helping more students with their subjects and I'm very eager to devote my time working as a tutor. I will keep my attention on finding the ways to explain concepts that are best suitable to a student. I've been tutoring all STEM subjects since my junior highschool and it turned out that the results of my tutoring were very good as all my students had a much better understanding of course concepts and become more efficient in solving problems. If you choose me to help you in any subjects listed, I promise I will not let you down because I have confidence in myself and I have confidence in every student who comes to find me.
For online tutoring: Zoom is preferred.
I am a passionate math teacher who loves to watch students excel. My main focus is to ensure that the students I interact with gain the skills needed to make learning easier. The greatest struggle I see with students today is they allow themselves to get discouraged when the learning becomes difficult as so many of them have had no issues up to that point. Students need constant reassurance that they can overcome any obstacle with enough work and effort.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I spent so much time and effort while in school learning not only from my teachers but from every internship I was able to take. I focused as much as possible on developing the skills to transfer my knowledge to the future generations.
I have taught at a number of high schools in Oklahoma and currently find myself teaching at Prue. I am qualified to teach AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and many more courses. I have taught almost every level of math that a high school student can take at this point, but always look for ways to continue pushing myself to be able to reach more students.
I am a 20 year old college student currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences at Purdue Univeristy. I graduated high school in 2018 with a 4. 0 GPA. I plan to attend medical school when I complete my undergraduate studies. I am seeking to aid those in need of academic assistance. Whether that be homework help, tutoring in a specific subject, providing study materials, etc. The subjects I have listed on my profile are all subjects that I have completed courses in with in A either in high school, college, or both. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! I would prefer to work online through video chat or other methods, but if you live within walking or biking distance of me (or a public place you'd like to meet at) I am more than willing to do that as well!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, being active, and serving at my church. I am very passionate about missions and hope to one day live abroad as a missionary using my medical skills to serve. I spent the last two summers living in Haiti working with a mission in the northwest zone. I had planned to do so this summer, but with COVID-19 was not able to do so. Thus, I am looking to work this summer.
I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully assist you with whatever you may need!

My approach to teaching is unique-- I specialize in helping students understand difficult concepts by providing personable examples and explanations catered specifically to each of them. There hasn't been a single concept that any of my students haven't been able to understand, and the 30+ students I've taught have all told me that my style is very effective and unique.
My teaching philosophy extends beyond just getting through the material--I teach students how to study, prepare for exams, solve exam questions, and maintain/achieve a high GPA. There is also joy for me in learning as well because by teaching people I also get to learn and grow and get to grow a connection to the people that I am teaching. I am a college student pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. Math has always been a passion of mine, and I love the way numbers and calculations work to bring understanding to problems. I also have a lot of passion for teaching others and trying to help others achieve a better understanding of the material that they are studying along with helping them grow and appreciate the subject that I know and love.
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process with a new student is to get to know them and how they view the subject that they are working on. Whether they view it as a passion that just needs more help to fully develop, a burden to be overcome, or something else entirely. Once I have begun to know this information I like to begin by introducing the basic ideas around the subject or topic at hand to get a better grasp around the fundamentals. This helps me learn who the student is as a person and how they like to learn and interact with the subject so that the relationship is built and the way to approach the subject can be improved for each of the individual students
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a large background in mathematics. I am pursuing a mathematics minor and a computer science degree. I have taken up to Calculus III, linear algebra, and statistics at the college level. I have been at the top of my class throughout high school and college. math has always come easily to me, and I love to share and learn with people while improving my own skills.
