I am a math and physics tutor with a first class Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Imperial College London. I also took the Part III of the www.*** Tripos course, which is a world renown graduate course at the University of Cambridge. I will also graduate with a PhD in physics from The University of Texas at San Antonio on www.*** 2020.
www.*** availability is flexible and I can help with homework problems and boosting confidence. www.*** goal is to help students not only solve problems but also to help them understand and highlight fundamental concepts and principles in order for them to see the bigger picture. This way students will see how various ideas in math or physics are connected and hopefully then develop an enthusiasm for the subject.
I began tutoring in 1999 and have been doing this as my primary income source for over 20 years with over 15 of that as a full time www.*** ; I have accumulated over 20,000 hours of face to face tutoring time across a wide variety of subjects.
I am comfortable tutoring all middle school or high school mathematics or physics courses, the majority of lower division undergraduate math courses (including all courses for a standard STEM degree) and select upper division undergraduate math courses.
I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and am happy to tutor using a mode of your choice at a location of your choice.
Please feel welcome to send any specific inquiries to me.

I work with flexible pay and hours. I am easily accessible through email: ***@*** . Please feel free to contact me for further questions or concerns! Mahalo
I am Jacob www.*** I have obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the university level with a minor in Mathematics. While studying at the university, I began tutoring for math classes and enjoyed sharing my passion of math with students, which I have now been doing for almost 3 years. I have tutored almost all math classes from middle school to senior level college classes. I tutored several people through www.*** ;and I have tutored many students through Varsity Tutors!
Online tutoring works best as I feel it helps with time-efficient scheduling and allowing a comfortable/familiar environment.
I am excited to be able to work with you and help you accomplish your goals! Please let me know your thoughts! Send me a text or give me a call at ( tel: *** to discuss any questions you have!
I am an electrical and computer engineering student with a love of math and helping people understand it. I have been tutoring people in math since I was 12. I started by helping my friends in my classes and have progressed since then. The people I have tutored have made A's or B's, depending on the level of effort they choose to dedicate to the subject. I know what it's like to look at a teacher's notes or a textbook and not knowing where to start, and I realized that if I'm stuck, I do best learning in a one on one setting, and I want to provide that for anyone who wants help.
I like to begin by asking how a person learns best, and I ask for an example of what a person did to understand a concept that they previously found difficult. I use videos and worksheets, and I work through problems with people I tutor in order to have a variety of ways that they can learn. It also helps us to determine the best way to succeed. I give lessons to people from a first grade level through a college math calculus 1 level.
Hello! One of my favorite things is helping someone learn something that was previously a mystery to them. That sudden "A-ha!" moment that everyone has when learning something new and difficult is an amazing feeling to have, as is the feeling when you help someone reach that enlightened state.
I have been tutoring students in subjectes ranging from pre-algebra to abstract algebra to differential equations for over 4 years (in person and online via www.*** and varsity tutors), have been awarded many FAMAT trophies and have a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
I am currently a student at Northeastern University. I was a tutor for math throughout high school and am looking for students in this area. I am mostly looking to tutor students in math or economics, but excelled in all subjects throughout school in New York. I received a 5 on AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Macroeconomics, and an A in Calculus 3 and Microeconomics at Northeastern. I am also a fun guy with experience with young kids, having worked as a lifeguard and summer camp counselor, if that matters for your child.
Prices and location are flexible. First lesson is free.
