At our three locations, Home Away Child Care Center offers child care programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We also offer after-school programs for school-aged children to balance both recreational and educational experiences. We are highly dedicated to assisting your child in any style that he/she may learn best while providing an environment that is safe, clean, warm, positive and responsive. We have been dedicated to providing high-quality temporary and occasional babysitting for children of all ages for over 30 years. The rate is $22/hour with a 4 hour minimum; the sitter is paid on the 1/2 hour after the minimum. After 10pm, there is a travel surcharge of $15. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a $45 fee. If you cancel with less than 2 hours notice, there will be a fee equal to the booking minimum ($88). You do pay the sitter directly, at the end of the booking (they do prefer cash). All Pinch Sitters have at least 3 years experience and at least 2 recent childcare references. All Pinch Sitters are personally interviewed and submit to a full reference, criminal and background check. All Pinch Sitters have extensive experience in many diverse settings: daycare/pre-K programs, K-12 classrooms, after school/summer camps, art therapy, and children's theater, dance, music, and gymnastics classes. Our experienced, responsible, reliable, and loving staff design fun and enriching activities while making sure that your children are safe and protected. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 8am-5pm. We do take same day requests and ask for a two hour turn around time (if a sitter is available). There is no pre-registration - we take your information at the time of your first booking.

Our centers focus on educating the whole child: helping children develop physically, socially, emotionally and academically is our goal. At Artisan, our curriculum is bolstered by a solid foundation in the arts. Our primary focus is to introduce music into the lives of all children on a daily basis. Neuroscience has proven that early exposure to, and participation in music leads to a higher aptitude in learning areas across the board. At Artisan, children are provided with a daily music lesson, taught by a degreed music educator. Infant and toddler classrooms host music and movement lessons, while preschool students participate in daily piano lessons! Furthermore, by incorporating activities like drawing, painting, sculpting and acting into academic lessons, children become excited about learning! This excitement is translated into a love of learning that follows children throughout their lives. The talented faculty at Artisan are committed to nurturing each child through the various stages of early childhood. The creative curriculum for each classroom is created by our staff, based on the abilities of the children and built around the Massachusetts Frameworks for Education.
