Hello!My name is Mia www.*** I am currently an entering Freshman at College Park High School in Pleasant Hill. I have taken classes up to Geometry, yet would be tutoring up to Algebra 1 in regards to Math. Though my main focus is Math, I can also assist with Science, English, and general matters of school. I have taken classes at Berkeley through the program ATDP, had a 1130 SAT score my 8th grade year, and would love the opportunity to aid your child through her/his academic career! Though I do not have my own car I would be perfectly willing to take BART, ask a friend, or bike to your home depending on whatever is of convenience to you. I enjoy and am proficient in teaching both basic skills as well as critical thinking. I assess student needs and research teaching materials online as well as support textual learning and assignments given by classroom teachers. I make subject matter meaningful and fun. I want to teach kids lots of fun subjects!! If you hire me we would be learning and having fun because that how you learn best. I have tutored kids n elementary and middle school prior to this and was a great experience. During this pandemic, I will only be doing zoom and skype meetings.
