With my educational background in English, I provide tutoring in addition to paper-editing. My clients will receive thorough feedback, homework and study tips, and any needed understanding of grammar, literature, or other English work aspects. I work well with students of all ages and have prior experience mentoring youth both of pre-school and college age. While I work well with any demographic, I have also worked with at-risk youth and can continue to cater to any such needs. I understand that different clients require different needs and am more than willing to design a fitting curriculum with each person. I am well-versed in multiple forms of media and can create a fun environment to learn within.

As a child growing up, I’ve witnessed my mom successfully help many students, including myself. This inspired me to live by her example from a young age. I enjoy learning and helping students develop a lifelong love for www.*** ;
As a Lead Tutor for the TRiO Student Services Program, I learned about effective communication and how language significantly impacts my connection with peers. My responsibilities as a Lead tutor included tutoring students in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Calculus. I was also able to conduct out-reach, develop personalized tutoring material for students, and meet with fellow program tutors to review tutoring curricula and common challenges experienced by students. In addition to that, I participated in class visits to educate students on available learning resources and completed individual projects to improve the tutoring system.
Growing up with nine siblings provided me the opportunity to exhibit my love for teaching through them. In earning my High School Diploma and an Associates degree, I found numerous possibilities to volunteer/work as a tutor at my local library and college campus. I tutored math, up to calculus, and some science courses during my time with TRIO SSS. I've also worked as a mathematics tutor at the Math Resource Center on campus. During those five months, I participated in multiple workshops to improve my tutoring and communication skills. Finally, I found a great opportunity during the summer to tutor at my local library. This experience opened a door of opportunities for me to grow, learn, and most of all, teach.
Many students struggle to find useful learning resources during these unprecedented times. My goal is to use my role to provide as much help as possible so you can succeed academically. Please feel free to contact me. I would prefer to work in the evenings, but can arrange for additional times. I would love to work with you and help you meet your goals and have success in school.

I was born in Uruguay and raised in Argentina before moving to the United States for college. While I was here, I tutored Spanish to a variety of learners varying from ages 5-70. I have taught over 100 students privately, have led over 10 small group classes, and have taught for the public school system for three www.*** ;I find languages to be fascinating. Each language is shaped and formed by its culture. The culture infiltrates its grammatical structure, pronunciation, and idiomatic expressions. I love discovering how each language represents the culture it was born in, how it evolved over time, or how it is currently changing in its sub-cultures. I have a love for my language and want to impart it to others who desire to learn it. I want your experience to be enjoyable and profitable. I want to encourage you in this process, to encourage you to go a little farther than you have before, and to help you understand and make sense of this beautiful language. What I love most about teaching this language is when I see students’ eyes light up because they have grasped a new concept and are naturally excited by this new understanding. I love watching my students be proud of the work that they have done and the ways in which they have improved. I hope to be able to provide a dynamic in which you can fully grasp the Spanish language.

Online tutoring isn't a second job for me—it's what I do! I invest 100% in my teaching, allowing me to cater the experience to each student's unique needs.
I have more than 15 thousand hours of experience teaching English, Hindi, and Urdu. Because every student is different and requires a unique approach, I continually adapt to the learner's needs regarding how the material is presented and the type and frequency of practice work.
In addition to general language teaching, I specialize in test preparation classes for the TOEFL, IELTS, and OPIc English proficiency tests. I also work with Hindi and Urdu students preparing for foreign service exams in the US or abroad.
I earned my TESOL certification from Seattle University in 2008 and completed several master's level courses in teaching and language learning. My Hindi and Urdu studies began in 2006 at the University of Washington. Four intensive quarters of study there were followed by the American Institute of Indian Studies (AIIS) Advanced Hindi Language Program in Jaipur, India, where I did two intensive, advanced-level programs back-to-back. In 2008, AIIS hired me as the first-ever non-native speaker to teach in their Basic Hindi Program.
In 2009, I cofounded a language school in New Delhi (India), which has become a world-class place for language learning. There, I gained more than 10 thousand hours of in-class language instruction experience, working with students of all ages and backgrounds from dozens of countries. After living and teaching in India for eight years, I returned to Seattle with my family.
One thing that sets me apart as an English language teacher is that I have become fluent in second languages and know what it's like to live in an entirely different culture.
I am generally available for online classes between 6 - 10 am and 4:30 - 10 pm (PST).
If you have any questions about my experience or approach to teaching, feel free to get in touch anytime!

I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for math and logic. I also love to see people be able to grow and learn in ways that they did not know that they could. There is also joy for me in learning as well because by teaching people I also get to learn and grow and get to grow a connection to the people that I am teaching. I am a college student pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. Math has always been a passion of mine, and I love the way numbers and calculations work to bring understanding to problems. I also have a lot of passion for teaching others and trying to help others achieve a better understanding of the material that they are studying along with helping them grow and appreciate the subject that I know and love.
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process with a new student is to get to know them and how they view the subject that they are working on. Whether they view it as a passion that just needs more help to fully develop, a burden to be overcome, or something else entirely. Once I have begun to know this information I like to begin by introducing the basic ideas around the subject or topic at hand to get a better grasp around the fundamentals. This helps me learn who the student is as a person and how they like to learn and interact with the subject so that the relationship is built and the way to approach the subject can be improved for each of the individual students
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a large background in mathematics. I am pursuing a mathematics minor and a computer science degree. I have taken up to Calculus III, linear algebra, and statistics at the college level. I have been at the top of my class throughout high school and college. math has always come easily to me, and I love to share and learn with people while improving my own skills.

I've been a private tutor for the past 15 years and spent a year training as a Princeton review educator when I was a student at Princeton University (I graduated from the university in 1994). I work with students from kindergarten to adulthood and enjoy tailoring my approach to address each student's concerns and goals. I frequently look to have my students play an active role in uncovering the strategies that works best for them, thinking of them as a member of a two person team. I strive to have my students, whatever age, feel both supported and challenged during our sessions while giving them the tools to feel confident when I'm not around.
