I do tutor in person and online. But I recommend that if we tutor in person to meet in a public place for the first time because its for safety reasons. I'm reliable and extremely smart i'm amazing with kids annd i am eligible to tutor kids with ADHD and ADD because I myself I have this disorder so I know how to work with it. I tutor math and english for middle schoolers and under. I am quite flexible with my schedule and open to most options. I will tutor you and also help with homework. I also will give prizes as we give pratice items for a little more motivation especially when working with the hyperactive children.

Hello everyone! I am a 13-year-old that is getting into the profession of tutoring. I specialize in English for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-graders, and math for 1st and 2nd.
English - My favorite subject is English. I have always been good at comprehending the curriculum put in front of me. I got the support to be an English tutor from my 7th-grade English teacher.
I have had an A+ in English for 3+ years in a row.
I provide materials. If your child finishes early, I can help with other subjects besides English and help them with one of the provided worksheets I will give them.
I have high organizational skills. I can help your child with planning work and due dates, cleaning out their backpack, etc.
Due to my age and knowledge, I can interpret the work to your child in a way they can understand.

I am very passionate about English, writing and humanities. I'm the arts and entertainment editor for my school paper and do lots of writing outside of school. I am a straight a, AP student. I speak near-fluent Spanish, but as it is not my native language, I am more comfortable in English.

I have been learning Japanese, in a school setting, for three years. I have learned outside of school through various apps and friends. I have maintained a 4 .0 (sometimes 4 .5)gpa throughout all of middle and high school. Last year, I helped a japanese foreign exchange student with every subject. Throughout the school years, many students have asked me for assistance with their homework- I guess you could say I've been tutoring for free! So, I thought I would start getting paid to do something I love. I also offer childcare services for 0-12 years old.

My experience includes being a peer tutor for people in my classes for two years, tutoring the ages of 7-14 for one and a half years, and serving as a peer counselor assisting peers in college applications which required tutoring and counseling training. I am passionate about education and helping others succeed. My goal is to find ways to incorporate different learning styles into various activities to ensure everyone understands their material rather than just be told to learn it. With any of my past or future experience, I hope to make a big step towards my goal and know that expanding what I know can be accomplished. For example, in my University (University of California-Davis), I learn how to care for animals, network, write journalism articles and creative pieces, and most importantly, teach others various subjects. I am eager to learn, adapt, engage, and, most of all, be a great tutor.

California Educational Centers
School, Learning Center
|
In 1991, Brian Tom's seedling educational center, Cerritos Education Center, consisted of a one-room homework lab, a used van, and a staff of 5 employees.
Today, the educational services company has transformed to become California Educational Centers Inc., or CEC, now boasting several contracts with school districts, valued community relationships and a staff of more than 100, including credentialed teachers, college graduate and undergraduate students, who reach out year-round to all students. CEC is proud to receive continued support from the community, through partnerships with institutions like the California Chess Academy, Chick-Fil-A, Elephant Bar Restaurant, Network for a Healthy California and Project APPLE.
While the facility and the student base has certainly grown and changed over the years, the principle behind the company remains the same. The vision was, and still is, for an educational center with 3 core values: safety, education and fun! Together these components, along with the mission statement, "to help each student reach his/her highest academic and social potential"brings to life an educational center whose unique environment inspires academic and social success for its students.
Founded in 1991. We work with 5 School Districts.
CEC strives to guarantee academic and social success for its students. CEC continues to be at the forefront of education, constantly developing new programs and curriculum designed to inspire every aspect of a childs mind, and utilizing the latest in educational technology in its multimedia computer lab, Vision Learning Labs.
As the company has grown, so has the diversity of its clientele. CEC's goal is to make its educational services available to all students, of all backgrounds. With this goal in mind, CEC has worked hard to offer special year-round discounts to make CEC's work with each family's own budget.
Even though he is legally blind, Brian Tom has a clear vision to educate others and is motivated to share this vision. From the very start of his journey, which began with his diagnosis of glaucoma, to his present achievements, four highly respected companies, Brian and his staff have maintained their devotion to education and continue to provide students with a visionary path to success! California Educational Centers continues to be an integral part of the neighboring community fueled in large part to our staff's dedication and enthusiasm towards student achievement!

I am a student at California State University, Fullerton. . I believe that the perfect student is a well-rounded one; and my goal is to help create a generation of well-rounded students who will thrive in future school and work environments. I was a CSF tutor at my high school for both my junior and senior year. In both of my AP English exams, I received a score of 5 (the highest possible score one can receive). I also have experience volunteering with preschool-age students at a special-needs school, and I also have experience teaching Sunday school to children preschool to second grade. Given my experience, I have learned that the best approach to learning is a positive one, and I try to make learning interesting and engaging. Hello! I'm Rachel, and for the past 5 years, I've been editing emails, papers, and assignments for my family and friends. I'd love to extend this skill to you or your children, whether it's help on Shakespeare homework, or a college application. I am patient, and great working with children; my main job has been with the Disneyland Resort for the past 3 years, where I hold a leadership position and communicate with others verbally and by writing daily. As for my studies, I studied Shakespeare and poetry quite extensively in college, including studying abroad in London, England, and scored a 5 on the AP Literature exam. At the moment, I am only willing for online instruction and hiring, but can work with Facetime, Zoom, and Skype. I prefer looking at and sharing documents via Microsoft Office and/or Google Drive/Docs. I hope to hear from you soon!
