Math, science, essay writing, literature, grammar and mechanics, literary analysis, public speaking, public relations, psychology and ACCUPLACER tutor in Evansville, IN.
I have been in your shoes!! I have hated math because it was just too hard and didn't understand the purpose! Until. . .
A fantastic teacher came along and showed me the true wonders of math! She made it easy, fun and understandable! Because of her, I want to help share my knowledge of math with others! I like to think that I make math easier to remember by making it fun and understanding! I like giving key steps or even helpful hints and tidbits to help people remember the steps!!
There are usually 3 questions I answer!
WHAT? WHY? and HOW?
I truly believe that if you have an understanding of these questions, and with the correct teacher, math can be made simple and fun!!
I have been teaching for three years now! I was in elementary for two years where I taught Math, Science, and Social Studies. I currently teach Freshman Algebra.
If you have any questions! Please don't hesitate to ask!!
I tutor almost all areas of mathematics. I tutor Algebra (1-3), Pre-calculus, Finite Mathematics, Probability, Geometry, and Calculus (1-3). I specialize in tutoring students that take college and high school courses using My Math Lab, as it gives a lot of students headaches. In my free time, I love to lift weights and I also compete in powerlifting!
Hi! I am Cheyenne! I am a thirteen year old honor student and I love to spend time with children. I have four younger siblings of my own (I am the oldest of the bunch), and I have experience taking care of younger children. I am great at teaching children, and I will be very happy to help your child with their elementary level homework needs. I am very adaptable, and can help with any of you, or your childs needs. I can also cook, so if that is needed, then I will be happy to prepare a meal. I also love to read, and if your child loves being read to I am the person for you! I really hope you consider me to care for you child and I am sure you and your child will be very satisfied with my work.
My family and I just moved to Clarksville last summer! I will be a sophomore at the University of Kentucky in August. I am majoring in Human Health Sciences on the pre-pharmacy track. A majority of my courses consist of math and science courses. I have watched kids as young as 3 months all the way up to age 12. During the school year, I would pick up kids from school and care for them until their parents came home. Over the summers, I would watch the kids from 7 AM - 5 PM. I am comfortable driving with kids in the car as I have experience taking them to and from summer camps, sports practices, clubs, and the pool. I am comfortable preparing meals and enforcing bedtime routines.
I am trained biomedical engineer who is currently enrolled at a seminary. I enjoyed teaching and helping my neighbors. In addition, I have excelled in academia. I want to put my knowledge to good use. My motivation is to alleviate a maximum of people that are struggling with school during these difficult times. Do not hesitate. I am here to have fun, while making reasonable money.

I know the subject can be a little dry, I have learned that sometimes all it takes is a different approach!

Hello! My name is Jiwon P., and I am a Freshman at Vanderbilt University, majoring in economics. I moved from Korea when I was in middle school, and have taught Korean to many students. Please contact me if you want to learn Korean for whatever occasions!
Hi! I am a teen and want to help tutor. I can help with learning how to read and understand what is being read. I can help with using context clues to figure out words and how to increase reading speed and flow. I can help with very simple reading for younger kids and more complex reading for older ones. I can help even with just reading letters and putting together small words leading up to making simple and short sentences. For math I can help with how to understand basic math such as subtraction, divison, addition mulptppication, parentheses and exponents. I can help with the math term pemdas. I can help your child go from very easy and small math problems to more diffcult and complex ones. I can adapt to your childs way of learning and provide a unique way of teaching and help with needs to be understood. Sometimes teachers teach how most of the kids in class know how to learn but not every kid can learn the way they teach. This sometimes means that kids need extra help learning the way they learn
I am a recent college graduate, who has spent the past 4 years devouring any sort of information about Political Science and History. As someone who has a learning disability themself (ADHD), I believe I am more than qualified to tutor and connect with students who possess ADD or ADHD as well. Going through school, I always wished I had a teacher that "got" the way that I worked, and I aim to be that kind of tutor in my professional life. As a tutor, I won't just hammer information into a student's head, rather I will work with them to make sure that they fully understand and digest the complicated world of Politics as well as the long winding tale of History.
My minor in college was Creative Writing, with a special emphasis on historical and political analysis of literary texts. As a tutor, I will work to instill a mind of critical analysis into my student, and help them develop their own creative voice.
I can help with up to high school level math and college level writing, and have worked with kids and adults of all ages in the past. Honors chemistry was one of my favorite classes in high school as well, and I'd be happy to tutor the subject again. I've spent time volunteering with students whose second language is English, so a language barrier shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Can tutor in almost any middle or high school class. I started college with 18 credit hours under my belt because I was able to pass multiple AP classes during high school. My junior and senior year my GPA was well above 4,0 for all four semesters.
