I am a recent college graduate, who has spent the past 4 years devouring any sort of information about Political Science and History. As someone who has a learning disability themself (ADHD), I believe I am more than qualified to tutor and connect with students who possess ADD or ADHD as well. Going through school, I always wished I had a teacher that "got" the way that I worked, and I aim to be that kind of tutor in my professional life. As a tutor, I won't just hammer information into a student's head, rather I will work with them to make sure that they fully understand and digest the complicated world of Politics as well as the long winding tale of History. My minor in college was Creative Writing, with a special emphasis on historical and political analysis of literary texts. As a tutor, I will work to instill a mind of critical analysis into my student, and help them develop their own creative voice. |
