I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. I am moving around August 5th for my new job. So I will not be available after that unless we work out something online with updated hours due to my new job. I minored in both math and Spanish. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish and can help with speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. I can do all math up to and including calculus. I have done higher levels but we will have to discuss those more because I am not as comfortable with them. Since 2011, I have worked in some capacity within the field of education, serving as a classroom teacher, tutor & mentor, afterschool program director, and researcher for students spanning grades K-14 ( www.*** , sophomore year of college). As far as it comes to general education: I've been there, and I've done that. Having said that, I'd like to denote the absolute importance of true learning and actual knowledge of a subject - something that is difficult to ascertain in a classroom where you are simply going through the motions of socialisation.
