Hi! I'm a college freshman at Georgetown who is ready to help! I specialize in English/Literature, SAT Prep (especially reading/writing), college admissions, college essays, history/the humanities, dance, and study skills. Reach out with any questions or interests!
I'm Kristina and I've been an honor student for 3 years now. I am advanced in all of my classes and simply love school. I love to tutor people younger than me because I'm close to there age and I remember how much I used to struggle. I love making the experience kids have in school worth it all. I am also a certified babysitter. I have all my CPR training. I work with kids ages 6 months to 11 years old. I'm a girl scout in the heart of Pennsylvania. Ask any of my friends and they will say I'm responsible and reliable.
As a bonus, I'm fun but know when to get serious!
I am a senior in high school with a 3. 7 GPA who is looking forward to helping as many of my peers as i possibly can during this hard time please contact me for more information about my services.
Hi! I'm Lauren and I will be a high school junior in the fall. I have a passion for teaching and working with children. I also take a number of AP and honors classes in school.
I am currently offering tutoring sessions online and in-person. In person sessions will have some restrictions, though, due to COVID-19. You can come to me, or I can come to you!
I also have plenty of experience with children. Including-
-YMCA Junior Camp Counselor
-Child Development Class: Students involved with the class get the opportunity to create and teach lessons to preschoolers.
-Classroom Volunteer: I volunteered in an elementary school classroom daily after school during the 2019-2020 school year. I assisted during their math period.
-Reading Buddies: At my local library, I was involved with a program in which I met with a third grader weekly to practice reading and writing skills.
-Nursery Attendant: I worked in a church nursery alongside my sister where we supervised children during the church service.
I would love to work with your child, and I'd love to hear from you soon! Please reach out with any questions or concerns! Thank you!
I love working with people and miss the individual teaching that occurs in a classroom. Currently, I am an administrator in a high school and am looking to get back to working with students. In the past, I have worked with high school and college level students but would also love to work with younger students. I taught English in two high schools and at the university level when I was getting my first master's. I am currently working on my doctorate. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at: ***@***
A little bit about me: I am married, have a son, and am currently pregnant with a girl. I also have a dog and two cats. I love spending time outdoors and exercising. I have a lot of energy and would love to work with you!
My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.
I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher in an inclusive classroom for Baltimore City Public Schools. I hold two Maryland Educator Certificates, in Elementary Education and Special Education. In May 2016, I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johns Hopkins University. I also have experience working with students with Autism and other special needs.
I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!
I am very well experienced working with younger children due to several times I have had to babysit kids before. I adore children in general and I would be more than happy to assist your child(ren) in helping them achieve their academic goals. My family and I have been apart of the Howard County Autism Society for years, therefore I have experience with kids with special needs and I am more than available to assist them as well.
Experience:
March 2018 - present: I lead/teach Group Tutoring sessions of SAT and Magnet testing prep at Takoma Park Middle School.
October 2018 - January 2019: I tutored a 5th grader in English weekly at a Project Access Center in Maryland.
I am currently a 10th grader in the Magnet Program at Montgomery Blair High School. I have a 4 .0 cumulative GPA and a 4 .76 weighted GPA. I currently take Magnet Calculus, Honors Spanish 4, and Honors English 10 and can tutor in any level of Math, English, and Spanish upto my current level.

I started out teaching 2nd grade and have been teaching 5th grade for 19 years. In my 19 years, I have worked with a variety of students, curriculum, strategies, and philosophies. I have also worked one-on-one and with small groups, from Kindergarten to high school. Over the years I have tutored many students in my district, as well as other districts in the area.
I have worked with a diverse group of students over the years. I have a variety of different strategies to help students not only learn the concepts, but remember how, and when to use the strategies. In my years of teaching, I have learned many new strategies from my www.*** ;
I am always looking to find new ways to help students be successful!
I have trained with the best linguist in the USA and have been teaching in classrooms since 1980. I have created my own method to reach all students of all ages. Hi , my name is Isabella www.***
I come from Italy, Milan, and I just moved here in Washington and I would love to give some italian, french and spanish classes.
I have a five years experience in french and since my mother is from South America I'm able to speak Spanish since I was a child.
I have already done some tutoring classes and I like to focus on the conversation and the pronunciation of the language.
My teaching method is tailored to every student’s learning style. I can give lectures, help with homework, or work problems alongside students.
To learn something it is helpful to be exposed to the material in many different ways and formats; This helps to strengthen neural pathways so the information is easy to recall and utilize. Moreover, I try to answer questions and teach using many different mediums --visual, auditory, and analogical. As a tutor, I am always learning during every session about how to better serve students’ needs to ensure utmost satisfaction.
I love helping my teacher with the other students sometimes I'M a great mentor for younger kids and also im looking to have clients who are willing to give me a chance and trust me with there children im in the 11th grade im 16 year old and will be 17 year old in 2 months also my grades in school is great i do very well with working with little kids also i dont have know bad backround with kids i love to teach and help other kids and help support my commuity as well i have got many awards in my life for the great work i did in school and outside of school i have town watch award too from the city of Philadelphia.
Hello! I'm a first-year at the University of Pennsylvania. My schedule is pretty flexible! I have tutored special needs students in the past, and have done SAT tutoring for a non-profit company as well.
I went to school to become a teacher and completed almost all of my classes. Due to personal issues, I was not able to complete my student teaching. However, I did get all A's and B's in all of my other education classes. I also went for special education, so I have that knowledge. That is why I am going alternate route. I am very enthusiastic and dedicated to children. I currently work in a school as an aide. I have worked with Preschool all the way through eighth grade. I would like to work with students in sixth grade or younger. I did my student teaching in 3rd and 4th grades general education and a resource room that was first through fourth grade. I am very familiar with the Common Core State Standards. I am looking forward to helping your child!
Hello,
I have been tutoring Math for over 14 years for various grades: Middle School, High School, and College. Math is a wonderful subject once you understand it. My primary objective is to help you love Math and enjoy it. Once that is established, nothing will stop you from excelling at Math.
Diplomas: I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications, MS in Telecommunications, and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tutoring Methods: My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I always try to provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach helps the student remember the equation or even reconstruct it again based on the scenarios discussed. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it because we do not pay attention to it but that does not mean it does not exist. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on them at home before our next session (these assignments could be chosen from the textbook or I could formulate them myself). This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.
Guarantees: I can guarantee you that if you follow the steps I pass onto you and do your homework assigned to you, I have no doubt that you will not only pass the class but also end up with an A. That's based on experience and not talk.
