Besides having a regular career as a professionsal in the area of aerospace materials, I have over 10 years experience teaching at College level. I am now retired from a 8 to 5 job but I still pursue engineering and teaching. I love to teach physics, math and materials science at high school and college level.
I also conduct classes for enginners pursuing materials science, failure analysis, corrosion engineering
I am also very good at offering technical and career advice to students interested in higher engineering education, writing thesis and technical journal papers, reports to the government, collecting published literature and ways to establish a sound career in an industry or academia.

Dr. John Lubbock

John has over a decade of teaching experience as a Lecturer at Oxford University, teaching Mathematics/Physics/Engineering to 1st and 2nd year Undergraduates, and where he obtained his PhD (D. Phil) and conducted several years’ research in the field of jet/rocket propulsion.
He also has two decades experience as a private tutor, teaching Engineering, Physics and Mathematics to students from the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial College London, University College London, Boston University, Queen Mary University of London, Loughborough, London School of Economics, New College of the Humanities, Southampton, Nottingham, Warwick, Liverpool, Oxford Brookes, London City, Derby, and others, at both undergraduate and masters level.
He also has experience teaching industrial professionals and students at all pre-University levels from GCSE to IB, including UK, European and USA curriculums.
He is comfortable teaching in French as well as English.
