I am moving around August 5th for my new job. So I will not be available after that unless we work out something online with updated hours due to my new job. I minored in both math and Spanish. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish and can help with speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. I can do all math up to and including calculus. I have done higher levels but we will have to discuss those more because I am not as comfortable with them. I can teach basic computer science principles and ideas as well as many languages including C, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, and React Native. Prices are negotiable.

I started out teaching 2nd grade and have been teaching 5th grade for 19 years. In my 19 years, I have worked with a variety of students, curriculum, strategies, and philosophies. I have also worked one-on-one and with small groups, from Kindergarten to high school. Over the years I have tutored many students in my district, as well as other districts in the area.
I have worked with a diverse group of students over the years. I have a variety of different strategies to help students not only learn the concepts, but remember how, and when to use the strategies. In my years of teaching, I have learned many new strategies from my www.*** ;
I am always looking to find new ways to help students be successful!

Hello! I am a rising senior at Wheaton College, studying molecular biology with a speciality in genetics. Along with biology, I also have interests in literature, academic writing, and creative writing. At Wheaton College, I was a group biology tutor from August 2018-May 2019, during which time I helped biology students with difficult topics, homework, comprehension, and test study. I also occasionally tutored struggling biology students in personalized one-on-one sessions. The next year, 2019-2020, I transitioned to a job at the Wheaton College Writing Center where I helped many students with the skill of scientific and academic writing. During my time in this job, I assisted students with editing papers, brainstorming, organizing their writing, learning citation styles, and generally helping them to craft higher-quality papers. I especially enjoyed helping students to write lab reports, scientific literature reviews, and research reports of their own work, encouraging them to blend their writing and scientific skills. Though biology and academic writing are my greatest strengths, I also love literature and creative writing. I took several elective writing classes at Wheaton to pursue my writing hobbies of poetry, short stories, and fantasy/sci-fi novels, and I even won the first place Lowell-Grabel creative writing poetry contest award for a poem about science! My varied interests intersect in ways that can truly be beneficial to a student looking for extra academic support in many different areas.
COVID-19 is changing the way students learn and interact with academic material. Instead of losing momentum during this time of crisis, I would like to propel you or your student through challenging material and remind them of the joy of learning, as well as the intricacies of the world around them. I believe that this can be done while staying safe at home! I would love to tutor students age 7-adult. Please reach out to me or schedule a time to meet if I fit your academic needs and interests.

I completed my undergraduate degree at The College of New Jersey, where I double majored in Elementary Education and Psychology. I also have my Masters in school counseling from The College of New Jersey. While in college, I worked at Bright Horizons Family Development center working in the toddler and preschool rooms for about 5 years. After graduation, I taught basic skills literacy and mathematics for 3 years, working with 1st-5th grade students. I have been teaching 1st grade for the past five years in East Windsor. I am happily married and have a 10-year old daughter who is in 5th grade. I have had experience with several families tutoring children in reading and math, ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. I love to read and spend time with my family. My passion has always been to help students reach their highest potential.

I taught English in two high schools and at the university level when I was getting my first master's. I am currently working on my doctorate. I have always had a great passion for helping others and being in the classroom. In deciding on a profession, I chose to follow my passion of leading, teaching, and helping others. While my primary focus for my degree is Secondary Education with a specialization in history, I have extensive experience tutoring children from preschool through high school. Likewise, I babysit and nanny children from infancy through middle school. During my time in high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society and the Italian Honor Society. I was also an ambassador for the National Society of High School Scholars. I was also a member of the Peer Mentor organization and a club called PUSH/REBEL. These organizations focused on teaching the youth of the community the dangers of getting involved with or using illegal substances and helped immerse students in positive leadership and educational activities. As a college student, I work for a tutoring company and tutor English Language Arts, History, Chemistry, and Algebra. I also work for a nanny company. It is my hope that I can connect with more students and have the opportunity to work with more children through TutorExtra.

I went to school to become a teacher and completed almost all of my classes. Due to personal issues, I was not able to complete my student teaching. However, I did get all A's and B's in all of my other education classes. I also went for special education, so I have that knowledge. That is why I am going alternate route. I am very enthusiastic and dedicated to children. I currently work in a school as an aide. I have worked with Preschool all the way through eighth grade. I would like to work with students in sixth grade or younger. I did my student teaching in 3rd and 4th grades general education and a resource room that was first through fourth grade. I am very familiar with the Common Core State Standards. I am looking forward to helping your child!

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

Hello! My name is Kseana but you may call me Kasey cause its easier LoL. and I am a very great person to work with. I am only 15 years old but I love math, and english. I can only teach grades lower than me because I find it easier as off now. I would try and make learning fun for your child so they don't think learning is boring. I would always try and teach my sisters all the time. The first session is free so we can get to know eachother then. I can even help with homework, thats not a problem with me at all. I would always try and bring a snack, so you can tell me what your child is allergic to. But I wouldn't bring peanuts because I'm allergic to peanuts and stuff like that. I put psychotherapy because I honestly LOVE to listen and help so maybe me and your teen or child can bond. Maybe we can relate. I can't add photos of myself until I get my phone fixed so I'm using a laptop at the moment. We can meet at the library or any other place it's up to you. Maybe even sometimes my home. I don't really have as much experience but I love to learn so I might see if this is for me. I am very respondsible, fun-loving, patient, trustworthy and I am always happy! We can do a backgroud check whenever you want I am not really sure how to put it up here. I will update my account once I get my phone fixed but for now you can message me hear or on my gmail ***@*** But I can't wait to have fun in learning with your child!

I am currently a senior at Old Bridge Highschool. Throughout high school, I have taken multiple rigorous courses that qualify me as a tutor. These include Ap Chemistry, Ap Biology, Ap Calc, and Ap Lang. I have an accumulated GPA of www.*** and am in the top ten percent of my class. Because of the classes I've taken, I have accumulated many successful study techniques that I can share with whoever may need it. I am especially proficient in tutoring basic math skills and algebra. However, I have experience tutoring elementary school students and helping with homework. My times and prices are flexible and, if working with younger kids, I can provide babysitting if needed/extra hours if parents are working or running late. My personal phone number is tel: *** and is always open to any homework related questions.
