I can help you, face-to-face or online. If you are interested send me the Syllabus, the name of your textbook and the assignments that you want to discuss. I dedicate a substantial amount of time to prepare the meeting, collecting the appropriate course materials and establishing tailor-made examples.
I prepare the session carefully. Sometimes you do not understand the theory because it has too much math or graphs or you do not know to answer an assignment. In those cases you need simple, practical explanations with examples. That is what I do. In a few words, I help students to improve their comprehension and grades. There is an old English saying: "There are no bad students, there are bad teachers".
I am a Stanford University Alumni. University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, Alumni.
Teaching experience in Economics and Business Management subjects 30+ years. Tutoring experience: 15+ years. Some of the courses taught: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Managerial Economics, Operations Management, Business plans, Strategic management, International management, supervision.
Certified Online Instructor (see diplomas below).
International Business Consultant, affiliated to the Valuation Research Group, in projects related to international economics, international strategy, and international financing.
Worked in executive and line management positions. Developed versatile operations, sales, and marketing strategies that increased profit for Baker Hughes, Sherwin Williams, French Total, Danish Danfoss, and other organizations.

Hi! My name is Erica www.*** I am 21 years old. I enjoy helping students with math. I have a visual approach and I like to have the student repeat to me the process and why it's important to do something. I think this is crucial in order for them to gain confidence and show me that they truly understand the concept on paper and verbally. I am also interested in helping students in spelling, editing, writing essays, and proofreading. I have two years experience in math tutoring from elementary math to algebra one. I am confident in helping with number lines all the way up to quadratics. I have 1 year in tutoring English to students who need help writing and editing. This is something I enjoy doing. I think it is important to help others succeed. I am very flexible in altering my teaching approach in order for the students to learn. In 2015 I graduated from North Central College in Naperville, IL, with my bachelors in education and a reading minor. Throughout my college experience, I had the opportunity to work one-on-one with struggling readers in order to help them get back on grade level. Additionally in this experience, I designed an 8 week program, where I tutored a 2nd grader in reading. Her level raised significantly, and by the end of our sessions, she was reading on grade level with her peers.
My passion for reading continued in Denver in a 2nd grade classroom. I currently work for Denver Public Schools, teaching 2nd grade reading and writing. Last year, I completed a Guided Reading Plus training course, in which I learned specific practices to help elementary students develop reading skills and to foster a love for reading. I have implemented these new practices throughout this school year in my classroom and already have seen drastic growth in reading from all of them.
My desire is to share my expertise with children around the Denver area through my reading tutor program.
I will work one-on-one with your child weekly, or whatever best suits your family's needs. I will assess your student at the beginning of our session to see what his/her reading needs are. From there, I will work with your child to improve either their comprehension, fluency, decoding, or all of the above based on the information I gather. The goal is to help your student feel successful in reading as well as finding joy in reading.

Being one of the younger writers, I am able to give a fresh perspective on things. I often look into ideas such as cultural bribe and how society is shaped by the inanimate object around us such as cell phones and computers. A major focus that I out in my writing is being able to back everything up with facts, studies and research. I am very proficient in using google scholar and a number of other sources to do research and find evidence. I can assist with almost any proofreading, essay help and writing as well as business pitches. I have experience in marketing as well so I know how to best pitch ideas and get the word out about a a producer and what they offer.
On the cover letter and resume side of things, I have taken classes on how to do both and over time have gotten really good and have a good base of knowledge for the best way to effectively put together an application and apply for jobs.
Graduated from Saint Joseph Academy among the top of my class, I decided to persue a degree in communications and journalism. At Colorado Christian University, I received a number of academic scholarships as well as entrqance into the advanced english department. In school although I am persuing these areas, I have taken french and spanish fro 11 years and am profficent with both as well as have always been very well with maths all the way up to calculus.
