To best influence the developing personality and skills of developing teenagers, educators
have the necessity to be well rounded across different skills inside and outside of the classroom. I
have accomplished a very long and personal goal to obtain a doctorate degree through my
persistence and dedication in every step of the way. Obtaining a doctorate degree gives me the
advantage of knowing the higher education system from a student perspective that I have been
able to apply to guide students.
I would be a true honor and personal goal to influence young minds into alternative science
careers. I’d like to do this by inspiring students to evaluate current scientific breakthroughs using
the scientific method to predict the application of these new findings for future investigations. In
short, my main goal is to inspire young minds to learn problem-solving techniques that will be
applicable inside and outside of the classroom.
I am a speech-language pathology graduate student working to complete my master's degree in August 2021. I have taken a special interest in neuroanatomy and physiology of the human body. I have 2 years of experience working with children who have special needs in a clinical and school setting, as well as adults with acquired communication disorders.
Religious studies, geography, health sciences, neuroscience, African dance, English, proofreading, math, journalism, reading, science, andatomy and physiology tutor in Charlotte, NC.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana (UIUC). While at UIUC, I tutored for the Health Professions LLC, employed by the university. I gained a lot of experience in tutoring:
- General Chemistry
- Organic Chemistry
- Molecular Biology
- Physics (non-calculus based)
- Behavioral \Neuroscience
During COVID, I am only tutoring remotely. I can meet you over Zoom or FaceTime, so please let me know what works best for you. If you are interested in contacting me, please text me at ( tel: *** or email me at ***@***
I recently graduated from Texas A&M with a PhD in neuroscience. There, I unofficially tutored undergraduated and graduate students in a variety of biology subjects, primarily neuroscience, anatomy, and histology. Before that, in college, I was a biology tutor specializing in introductory biology, molecular biology, microbiology, anatomy, and physiology.
In addition to science and biology, I love helping people learn to read and develop their language skills. Reading is a beautiful and integral part of interacting with the world around us, and I enjoy patiently guiding people of all ages into a greater understanding of the written word.
I am a professor at UCLA where I teach Physiology and Neuroscience to undergruates and post-graduate students seeking to attand medical school or graduate school. I am also a professor at Santa Monica College and West Los Angeles College, where I teach Anatomy, Physiology and General Biology to both science and non-science majors. The science majors students are mostly going in to the health professions, such as nursing or occupational therapy. I really enjoy teach and tutoring at all levels. I also prepare students for the MCAT and GRE.
My face lit up with pure joy and I could not stop smiling. I just witnessed one of my students screech with satisfaction as she solved a laborious organic chemistry problem. She says, “I guess organic chemistry isn’t too bad after all."
I love to teach, so I can help students realize their capabilities just as this student and experience more of these heartening moments. In this moment, I knew I had a joy and passion for teaching. I long to see students excel, to exceed expectations of others and of themselves. I desire to help students reach their potential. I share a love for education, and I share a love for knowledge. I believe all students have an aptitude greater than what any one person labels them, because a student may not know their full potential until they believe in themselves, in their abilities. I would love to help students to embody the notion that their hard work defines them, an individual, not a presumption.
I received my BS in Molecular/Cell Biology and Biochemistry with a minor in Creative Writing at Seton Hall University and my MD from Weill Cornell Medical School in 2016. I am looking for highly motivated students in the Cleveland area to tutor.
I am able to tutor a wide range of subjects including math (up to Calculus I), many science subjects including chemistry, biochemistry, physics, biology, anatomy and physiology and standardized tests like the SAT and MCAT
If there are other subjects you or your child needs, please contact me and we can see how I can assist you!
