Hello, I'm Eito and I currently go to Georgia Southern University as a D1 basketball player while maintaining a 3. 76 GPA. I am originally from Japan and I came to the United States when I was nine due to my dad's work. When I tutor, I will try to teach not just that subject, but also how to be successful in life. My dream was to become a D1 basketball player and my dream did come true, but no one knows many sacrifices I had to make to get here. Even after I made it, it is still very hard to maintain an above 3. 5 GPA while playing basketball. However, I am doing it now and I know how to do it. When I tutor, I would also like to show students what it takes to make your dream come true.

Although I have a passion for science and continue to pursue a career in healthcare, I am also a published author and maintain an active lifestyle. I have years of tutoring experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels in addition to being a designated trainer at my job. I also have experience working with children with Autism and other learning disabilities. I prefer online tutoring through video, but after a few lessons I may be willing to travel to meet in person. I have 12 years of experience as a teacher and tutor. I believe in finding new and innovative methods of teaching to help students succeed. Each student is unique and what may work for one may not work for another, that is why I take my time to ensure I prepare lessons that are appropriate for each student individually that will help him/her develop the skills needed to improve in class. I have experience working with different age groups and with students with learning disabilities. I have a passion for teaching. I believe every student has the ability to succeed. Sometimes we just need the extra help and someone to care and believe in us to show us the way. I want to continue to be that person for students, someone they can lean on, and help them in their journey to success.

Hello! I have 25+ years of teaching and coaching experience that can help you to achieve your academic or career goals.
As a graduate student, I led classes at Princeton, Drew and the University of Virginia. I also privately tutored student athletes while at UVA.
In 2001, I opened my first education company, The Engaged Mind LLC. I specialized in helping professionals to develop the mindset and the daily habits needed to create high levels of achievement and well-being. I also showed a lot of students how to become much better test-takers.
I know how to make learning fun and I really enjoy helping others. It's especially rewarding when I can help someone to overcome the very obstacles that once stood in the way of their success.
I’ve helped hundreds of clients to develop greater focus, confidence and momentum for 18+ years.
I'd like to help you as well.
Send me a note and let's connect. Let's talk about what you are struggling with right now and how I can help you to attain the success that you desire and deserve.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Whether you decide to hire me or not, I wish you well. Never underestimate who you are, what you know or what you are capable of becoming.

Come to work because my classes are structured to ensure that each student receive the best instruction possible to succeed in whatever your goals are. These exams are not easy: they are not meant to be. However, you can pass these exams if you put in the work that is necessary to understand the materials. I can help you accomplish this task. If you believe in yourself, anything is possible. So, not only do we work on the academics of the subjects, but I help you to develop confidence.

My Philosophy: While teaching, I feel that it is necessary to share my gifts and talents in the classroom as well as with others who may need extra help. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and helping kids see their maximum potential in their learning. I want to continue tutoring throughout the summer as well as into the school year. This area of education is crucial to me, and I want to make sure that the kids I work with understand the content better as to when they had started working with me. My Tutoring Experience: I have worked with children from 1st-3rd grade in all subject areas. I have worked with 4th-8th graders on study skills to prepare them or help them succeed in both middle school (6th-8th) or high school (9th-12th). I have worked with students in middle school in almost all subject areas, including but not limited to: English, writing, social studies, science, and religion. Tutoring and COVID-19: In these times of uncertainty, it has become clear to me that many parents are not comfortable with their children returning to the classroom. Therefore, I would like to offer my services regardless if a student is attending school regularly, as in face to face or if they are going to be engaging in remote learning (i. e. virtual). I understand the reality that many parents have full-time jobs and can't take on an entirely new job: becoming their child's full-time teacher. I know it is common for many young children to become easily distracted, thus it will be my job to guide individuals through their virtual schooling and keep them on track. Additionally, I am flexible about where you would want tutoring to take place. For instance, I can come to you, you can come to me, or we can use a platform such as Zoom to ensure your child is getting what they need.

I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from the Fall of 2015 to the Spring of 2019. I hold a bachelor's in English with a minor in political science. I worked for the Carolinian, UNCG's newspaper, for two years, serving on the Sports, Features and News staffs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, preferably American literature, but I have a soft spot for British literature, especially early Shakespeare.

I am currently working on my BA in History at North Carolina Central University. From there I will go on to grad school and become a professor of History. I am a professional math and history tutor at my university. I have been tutoring since I was in the 6th grade. I am qualified to tutor pre-school through college-level math and history classes. Too many times I have heard from my students that they are not good in a subject, but with consistency and hard work anyone can be great in school. I would like to help along the way. I am available to tutor online and in person. Please fill free to email me if you have any question, comments or concerns ***@***
