I have several curriculum ranging from Algebra I through AP www.*** ; I am able to teach any math level up to Calculus I and can assign problems/quizzes/tests for students to work on independently.
My calculus students average a 4 on the AP Calculus and AP Computer Science Principle www.*** ; I am also a reader for AP Computer Science Principles and score exams for College Board every summer.
I am very skilled at explaining concepts multiple ways until a student www.*** ; Students find me easy to talk to and very approachable.

***DOING ONLINE LESSONS ONLY*** I have Masters in Maths and I am Former Head of Mathematics of a high achieving school. I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 20+ years. I teach Math up to AP level and have had great results always. I have also been an examiner for UK International and OCR examination boards for Math exams. The best part of my job is making Maths enjoyable and accessible to my students. It is hugely rewarding when your students achieve their potential grades and progress to the next stage of their academic life. I am very passionate about my subject. Before teaching, I worked as a Senior Analyst Programmer in a Software house specialising in Banking software. Mr. V. graduated from St. John’s University in 2000 with a B. S. in Journalism and went on to complete a M. S. in TESOL at St. John’s University in 2004. This will be his 20th year as a professional educator—and his first teaching in Delano.
Mr. V. was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and attended schools in the Bronx and Manhattan. He enjoys graphic design and playing video games with his 4 sons. He believes he has the responsibility as an active agent to close the achievement gap and was inspired to relocate his entire family from NYC to prepare and support scholars to and through college.
