I hope everyone is healthy and okay during these unprecedented times. My name is Brad www.*** I am a freshman at Boston College and a former Needham High School student. I have studied high level mathematics and have been a math tutor since freshman year of high school. I am available for tutoring over Zoom. I can help with students in fourth to ninth grade and I can assist in any format: working through problem sets, answering any questions, teaching concepts, etc. This tutoring service will help your child with getting their work done and keeping them on task. I have also received positive feedback that this provides structure during the day for students. My schedule is super flexible as I am stuck in my house. My fee is $40 per hour. I tutor in English, writing, study skills, psychology, as well as math. I also have experience preparing students for the verbal portions of the SSAT and the ISSE.
Furthermore, I have prepared students for the verbal section of the SAT/ACT for the past several years. I give my students the tools needed to approach both of these tests - finding the main idea, answering inference questions, as well as answering questions involving vocabulary.

I have recently graduated from Rutgers-Newark with a double major in Mathematics and Physics. I have been passionate about teaching math ever since I tutored math and physics. Despite extensive experience working in electronics communications, my most rewarding job has been teaching high school math in a summer program to prepare students for college. My practical experience in electronics as well as my background in Physics helps me to both understand and explain applications of mathematics.
I am able to teach a wide range of both high school and college-level math ranging from algebra and calculus I, II, and III to linear algebra, differential equations, and partial differentials among others. Having received a 780 on my SATs and having recently engaged in test preparation as part of the high school college prep summer program, I am experienced in tutoring SAT mathematics as well. Furthermore, I am fluent in Spanish and am both capable of and willing to tutor math in Spanish.
I have now been tutoring intermittently for 15 years. I am highly qualified in mathematics and physics, I am patient and passionate to help anyone seeking assistance in a wide range of mathematics and physics. I am looking forward to helping you understand and gain the confidence to achieve more in your education.
