I am a student looking to teach fellow students. I am completely comfortable with teaching all math through trig/pre-calc, all other subjects for K-8, and I also have experience with teaching art, art theory, and art history. I had experience with teaching friends and family and I am currently finding ways to practice my teaching skills with students outside of my friends and family. My main goal in tutoring is to give students the skills and knowledge they need to achieve whatever dreams they may have!

I worked as a tutor in the past year in my community college before I transferred to Illinois Institute of Technology. I teach Calculus 1,2 and 3 and college level physics 1 and 2
Many students these days miss out on various important concepts in a plethora of subjects, thinking they might cover it later or go visit youtube educational videos sometime, as I am a college student myself, I know how surreal that concept is. I can minimize or end that fatal gap of confusion and procastination by helping students clear doubts and understand concepts in an easy, convinient and methodical way, which not only will help them in the long run but might also go along the way and spark an interest in the subject.

I can coach mathematics through calculus including statistics and differential equations, basic and some advanced physics, any engineering course (statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluids, mechanics of materials). I am mostly fluent in Spanish, and I am adept at technical and professional communication. I can also teach English language skills, professional writing and the likes. I also play flute and piano, and I can teach beginners in both.

The University of Wisconsin-Stout is known as Wisconsin's polytechnic university as it puts an extra emphasis on hands-on experience. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science with a concentration in Mathematics Education. While there, I took courses in Calculus (Calculus 1, 2, and 3), Linear Algebra, Statistics, Geometry, Abstract Algebra, Graph Theory, and Real Analysis. I also took education classes including Math Education Methods, Inclusions of Students with Special Needs, Multiculturalism, Classroom Management, Curriculum and Assessment, 2 semesters of pre-student teaching (1 semester in high school, one in middle school), and a semester of full-time student teaching (one quarter in high school, one quarter in middle school). I also tutored students for 2 years while at the university, working mostly with students in lower-level, remedial mathematics. It was a fantastic program, where I learned and grew a lot.
