I am currently a senior in high school and have decided to take up tutoring not only to help others succeed, but to earn a few extra bucks doing so. I have received scores of 5s on all the subjects I offer to tutor (plus a perfect 800/800 on the SAT world history subject test). I have received these scores through taking them in school and preparing for them on my own outside of class, and would say that anyone has the potential to succeed in whatever they choose to take with a little preparation and help. I'd love to help anyone who has lofty academic goals, such as myself .
(My only downfall: AP Physics 1.)
A quick list of qualifications:
- Tutoring for 2 years now— 1st-8th grade (3 clients)
- Babysitting for 2 years
- 5. 25/5. 33 GPA (6 APs)
- Nationally recognized in Science Olympiad (astronomy, semiconductors, ornithology, forensics, genetics)
- Varsity member of the debate team
- Training for the International Olympiad of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2020
I also participate in the symphony orchestra (highest one), math team, and BinaryHeart. BinaryHeart is student-founded organization that accepts donate technology, repairs it, and redistributes the devices to inner - city children.
While I am committed to tutoring material, I believe the most important thing a child can learn is passion and motivation. This is kind of a late response, but let me know if you’re still interested! My number is tel: *** but you can also PM me back.
Hi! My name's T, I'm a college student studying to be a teacher. I love teaching, learning, and helping others. My hours and rates are fairly flexible and open to discussion. I've been tutoring since I was in eighth grade, but officially I'd put it around 2-3 years ago. I make lesson plans, worksheets, study guides - whatever you or your child need to succeed! I also like to keep both the student and parent updated on progress, assignments, and anything important I notice. I look forward to working with you!
