I am a certified Elementary Ed. teacher (K-6), with my Masters in Teaching . I am currently living in Stroudsburg, PA and am seeking part-time child care work in the Pocono Mountain area. I have experience working in a school setting in roles as substitute and student teacher. I also have experience home-schooling children throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. Prior to teaching, I have babysat/nannied children aged 1 through 12.
While I will be pursuing a teaching job come fall, I am seeking temporary employment, whether that be tutoring, teaching, or babysitting, throughout the Spring/Summer time. I hope to find the perfect fit and I look forward to hearing from you!
I'm Kristina and I've been an honor student for 3 years now. I am advanced in all of my classes and simply love school. I love to tutor people younger than me because I'm close to there age and I remember how much I used to struggle. I love making the experience kids have in school worth it all. I am also a certified babysitter. I have all my CPR training. I work with kids ages 6 months to 11 years old. I'm a girl scout in the heart of Pennsylvania. Ask any of my friends and they will say I'm responsible and reliable.
As a bonus, I'm fun but know when to get serious!
I went to school to become a teacher and completed almost all of my classes. Due to personal issues, I was not able to complete my student teaching. However, I did get all A's and B's in all of my other education classes. I also went for special education, so I have that knowledge. That is why I am going alternate route. I am very enthusiastic and dedicated to children. I currently work in a school as an aide. I have worked with Preschool all the way through eighth grade. I would like to work with students in sixth grade or younger. I did my student teaching in 3rd and 4th grades general education and a resource room that was first through fourth grade. I am very familiar with the Common Core State Standards. I am looking forward to helping your child!
I am pursuing my computer engineering bachelor's but have experience teaching students of all levels by breaking everything into steps and making sure the concepts are understood before moving on. I also like to create study guides as that is what has helped me be successful in my educational career. I also have attended online lectures and am being trained to guide groups over zoom so I know fun and exciting ways to keep students engaged and have tools to make the experience as immersive as possible.
I love working with people and miss the individual teaching that occurs in a classroom. Currently, I am an administrator in a high school and am looking to get back to working with students. In the past, I have worked with high school and college level students but would also love to work with younger students. I taught English in two high schools and at the university level when I was getting my first master's. I am currently working on my doctorate. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at: ***@***
A little bit about me: I am married, have a son, and am currently pregnant with a girl. I also have a dog and two cats. I love spending time outdoors and exercising. I have a lot of energy and would love to work with you!
Hi! I am Harmony. I am very passionate women towards learning and curiosity. I specialize my services in: Science (Pre-Elementary/Middle), English (TEOL), Math (Elementary, Middle), Science Fair Prep (all ages), and Innovative Thinking (all ages).
My goal is to make learning fun and interesting. I want to prepare you or your child for their education and help discover he/she potential and learning styles to help them develop effective study habits.
My background lies in the STEM industry. I have studied engineering for 4 years at a Vo-Technical high school. There, we took the required courses you would take in college and worked hands-on with CNC machines/lathes. We also established our visual preferences using Siemens NX, 3D-Modeling software to bring our innovative ideas to life. I took my STEM background to a new environment right after high school and decided to volunteer as a science fair judge.
My name is Kristen and I'm a 25 year-old physical therapy graduate student who is graduating May 2020. I have worked as a graduate assistant for Anatomy/Physiology and Kinesiology during graduate school. I have experience in tutoring Mathematics, Science, and Psychology. I have a passion for learning and working with others to better understand information while making it fun! I believe giving examples and relating things to real-life is the best way to learn! Please consider using me as your online tutor :)
I am moving around August 5th for my new job. So I will not be available after that unless we work out something online with updated hours due to my new job. I minored in both math and Spanish. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish and can help with speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. I can do all math up to and including calculus. I have done higher levels but we will have to discuss those more because I am not as comfortable with them. I can teach basic computer science principles and ideas as well as many languages including C, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, and React Native. Prices are negotiable.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!
I started out teaching 2nd grade and have been teaching 5th grade for 19 years. In my 19 years, I have worked with a variety of students, curriculum, strategies, and philosophies. I have worked with a diverse group of students over the years. I have a variety of different strategies to help students not only learn the concepts, but remember how, and when to use the strategies. In my years of teaching, I have learned many new strategies from my www.*** ;
