Although I have only one year of teaching experience in a school setting, I have tutored students for many years online and in their homes my step-by-step approach to solving algebraic and word problems. Mathematics is unlike any other subject - it can not be memorized, it MUST BE PRACTICED! I make up practice sheets so my students can gain as much experience as possible. Along with my other teaching experiences, I have also taught GED math subjects such as time, fractions, decimals, scientific notation, and beginning algebra. My schedule is very flexible and I can travel anywhere in the Hershey/Hummelstown area.

Hello! I have my master’s degree and certification in PreK-12 reading specialist and instructional coaching. I am also certified in K-6 elementary teaching. I have over ten years of experience working with a diverse range of ability levels. I enjoy working with readers and writers of all ages and can assist whether the struggle is in reading comprehension or decoding (sounding out the words on the page). I am very familiar with dyslexia and use The Science of Reading as the framework for everything I teach in ELA. I also have experience working with gifted students and can help them excel with 1:1 instruction.
I prefer to work with struggling mathematicians in grades K-5.
How it works? I would first set your child up for a FREE evaluation. After, I would be able to pinpoint gaps in their foundational skills and create an individualized learning plan. Lessons thereafter, can be as often as you prefer.
My availability:
Sunday and Saturday- All Day
Monday-Thursday- 3:30-9:00pm
Rates-$60-$85/hour
For now, all lessons will be through Zoom. This allows me to work with students from a wider radius in a safe manner. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I am looking to babysit part-time or help with homework at home or online through a video chat! I am a sophomore in high school and am willing to work with Middle School or Elementary kids on homework!
I have babysat for 4 kids from ages 2-10 overtime when I was 12-14 and I do not babysit for them anymore. I have a sister with autism and she is on the lower functioning side so I have a pretty good knowledge of what autism is like and some ways to help kids with it! I have participated in volunteering for Special Olympics locally in my area when I was aged www.*** ;
I have a registered driver's permit meaning that I do have transportation, I have a workers permit but I do not have any specialized license in babysitting but I have taken a CPR course and understand basic first aid skills.
I am willing to do in-person homework help or online given the circumstances of COVID. If I am babysitting I am willing to do light cleaning, I am pet friendly, and I can also help cook and make snacks.
Message me for more information, questions, or if you are overall interested!

My teaching style incorporates my love of art and music to create a creative and productive learning atmosphere. I work to forge genuine connections with students built on a foundation of genuine care and professional competence. Over my four years as a part-time music educator, I developed strong classroom management and curriculum development skills. In finishing my teaching certification last spring in a rather unconventional atmosphere, I have added flexibility in my practice and fluency in online learning tools to my list of qualifications. To learn more about my experience, skills, and teaching philosophy, please review my linked website.

As far as it comes to general education: I've been there, and I've done that. Having said that, I'd like to denote the absolute importance of true learning and actual knowledge of a subject - something that is difficult to ascertain in a classroom where you are simply going through the motions of socialisation.
So if you're looking to cut through the mundane and get a deeper understanding of some material, or if you're looking for someone to help you game the system to turn busy work into light work - then I'm your guy.
Also, don't be discouraged by the thought that I won't be able to translate the material well to someone that isn't accustomed to AP classes, rather, consider it like so: I can help provide that deeper "AP analysis and understanding" without all of the "rigor", or rather, all the busy work, cramming material, www.*** it as getting a taste of an AP experience through a much friendlier, understanding, and eloquent medium that has seen what works and what doesn't work in terms of teaching students, and can therefore pick and choose the good from the bad to help you make sense of the www.*** said that, here are some of my credentials:I've taken 11 APs throughout my high school career:-AP Economics (5/4)-AP Lang and Comp (5)-AP Calc BC (3)-AP Physics 1 (3)-AP US History (5)-AP Psych (4)-AP Lit and Comp (-)-AP Comp Sci A (-)-AP Statistics (-)-AP Physics C (-)-AP French Lang (-)I have a 97(dot)91/100 weighted GPA, which translates in practicality to a 4(dot) www.*** seems this website censors dots as websites, which is a bit odd.
