I do tutor in person and online. But I recommend that if we tutor in person to meet in a public place for the first time because its for safety reasons. I'm reliable and extremely smart i'm amazing with kids annd i am eligible to tutor kids with ADHD and ADD because I myself I have this disorder so I know how to work with it. I tutor math and english for middle schoolers and under. I am quite flexible with my schedule and open to most options. I will tutor you and also help with homework. I also will give prizes as we give pratice items for a little more motivation especially when working with the hyperactive children.

I enjoy and am proficient in teaching both basic skills as well as critical thinking. I assess student needs and research teaching materials online as well as support textual learning and assignments given by classroom teachers. I make subject matter meaningful and fun. I can provide references if you'd like.
Speak with me about you / your child and what your situation and needs are. The consultation and 30 minute initial meeting with the student is complementary. You can decide if we are a good match for what you're looking for.
Cheers!

I have experience teaching in the classroom. I previously taught alternative education for one year and 11th and 12th grade English in a continuation high school. In the past I taught 7th and 8th grade English. I also taught ELA Enrichment, which was a remedial English class designed to get below grade level students up to grade level. I received my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. I also have my Master's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. Before teaching in my own classroom, I substitute taught and worked as a paraprofessional. I was a paraprofessional in self-contained and full inclusion classrooms.
The first thing I do for tutoring is give my students a grade level assessment. The grade level assessment helps me discover what level my student is working at. The assessment also shows me which items need to be worked on. I give lessons on a subject, such as grammar, first. After the lesson, my student and I do a few problems together. After completing the problems together, I have my student work on some problems by themselves. I check the answers in front of my student. If any of the problems are wrong, we go over the problems together. We discuss the right and wrong answers and also why the answer is wrong. I also help students with their homework, if needed.

I like working with people and helping others learn new things. I am working on becoming a high school English teacher and minoring in viticulture. I have worked with kids for the past ten years and have been tutoring for four. I have tutored students who spoke broken English, had autism, learning disabilities, as well as physical disabilities. My specialties are English and history. However, I am also able to teach algebra and geometry 1 and 2 as well as chemistry.

Here, our services go over at a slow pace to ensure that our students understands the curriculum. Our teaching is very flexible, allowing the child to go slower in difficult subjects while challenging previously known knowledge. Your child will be able to excell in no time!
For my math students, I hope to make sure they understand. Anybody can memorize something, but to understand is just exceeding that standard. I'll begin by giving a simple problem in most instances that I'll have them look over and use their logical systemic approach to examine with. They'll use their logic to examine, and if they get it right, great! If they make mistakes, it's great too, because now we can go over it during the lesson to show what to do and why!
For my English students, I want them to use their imagination. Books and writings are based off imagination, not knowledge. You can take as much information as possible, but if you have no way to imagine how you'll present that, then it won't work. My teaching in this subject will go over this, and I hope I can improve their skills throughout the course.
I have worked with a family member who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), so I did work with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapists for about three years, but I have no problem working with any other students.
I feel very happy to teach, so I do not hope for mush. I wish to mainly teach online through Zoom primarily so that I can show the work since I do not wish to use my source of transportation to travel many distances as I'm a minor. I would set a standard of twelve dollars an hour, the minimum for minimum wages in California.

Hello my name is Deir and I am a pre med student beginning medical school in 2021. I have been tutoring on and off for over 10 years helping a variety of students with their academic needs. I like to create a structure based on the individuals learning style, help them understand the material, and then show them how to adapt to other methods of learning so they get used to how other people may teach.
