Hello! My name is Eric and I am a upcoming senior at University of California, Davis and am currently majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. I am a pre-medical student looking to gain some extra experience this summer while at home and would be very excited to work with you in order to teach you the foundations of science or math. I specialize in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, but am comfortable teaching basic Physiology, Biology, Physics, or any basic Elementary, Middle School, or High School subjects. Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read about my tutoring services. My name is Tom www.*** I am currently a high school teacher at a private school. I have been teaching for 20+ years. Most of that time was at the high school level. However, I have also taught at the middle school level. I am most comfortable teaching in the social studies subjects. In particular, I have taught AP US History, AP Government, World History, and Economics. In addition, I have taught elementary mathematics, high school algebra I, geometry, elementary science, basic computer skills, and Catholic theology. As a high school teacher, I also have my students complete research papers.
As a result of my tutoring, my students have generally seen success. I've had students go from F's to A's in a few weeks. One of the reasons for this is that I create learning experiences that fit each individuals learning modality. I can create kinestic based lesson and lessons that work with multiple learning modalities. I am a 27 year old math, science, and engineering tutor. I began tutoring math in 2010 with a local tutoring company. After gaining several years of experience and expanding the subjects I was capable of tutoring, I began taking on private tutoring opportunities. I then began tutoring at the local community collee, covering specific courses and working with assist students in courses with historically high failure rates. I now work as an assistant supervisor for a college tutorial center that has been voted best in area 5 years in a row. I have a level 1 CRLA tutoring certificate and am currently looking for new students to take on in a private capacity.
I am passionate about nearly all STEM courses and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering at California State University of Fresno.
