Hi! I am new to the Harrisonburg community as I have just began my first year at James Madison University! College is expensive and I am looking for some tutoring jobs to help me pay for school. I was a straight A student in high school and tutored in my hometown for four years, so I have experience with all age groups and all subjects! I am open to negotiating times and prices for work. Please call/text me at tel: *** if you are interested! I would love to help!
Thank you!!
I have worked in education for more than 20 years. I've worked with students in all grades in public, independent, charter, and special education schools. Extensive experience with students with ADHD and learning differences. My goal is to help your son or daughter develop the skills and confidence that they need to succeed not just in school, but in whatever they do in their lives.
I am a licensed Special Education teacher with about 2 years of experience in teaching. I am currently in my Master's program at The George Washington University for Special Education.
I have experience with tutoring kids ages 5-10. I can provide study tips and skills as well as homework help. I am available on weekends, as well as other times that can be coordinated. :)
I have had 18+years' experience as a tutor and mentor of higher education writers and have had 8+ years' experience as a writing assistant to ESL and LD individuals in higher education and in the workforce.
Please contact me, at: tel: *** (phone or text message), at: www.*** or by e-mail, at: ***@*** Ithank you very much.
Sincerely,
Matt R.
I am a lifelong educator of various subject matter to include but not limited to homeschooling and ESL. I enjoy helping others reinforce basic learning skills. I have several degrees to include an MBA.
My specialties of interest are reading, math, and conversational English. All tutoring services are conducted online in order to have the flexibility to learn at all times.
My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.
I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher in an inclusive classroom for Baltimore City Public Schools. I hold two Maryland Educator Certificates, in Elementary Education and Special Education. In May 2016, I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johns Hopkins University. I also have experience working with students with Autism and other special needs.
I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!
I absolutly love kids! I always have and I have also always loved helping others! Teaching kids how to do a subject that I am particularly great is something that I love to do, FOR FREE! I just love being able to help anybody that I can! I love to get to know the students personally and academically! I love to create a safe working environment for everyone and I offer group and individual classes! I like to get to know what kind of student my students are and I love to create fun activities to match that working space for them! I love to connect with kids and create a healthy bond so they feel comfortable going to me with any questions and I embed great study and work habits within each lesson.
