I am an Educational Consultant, working as an Independent Contractor with Wayne Regional Education Services Agency (Wayne RESA), to provide Instructional Coaching support in the areas of Mathematics and Science. Currently, and for the past four years, I have been contracted to provided “On-the-Job” Professional Development to roughly (36) teachers ranging in grades 3-12; working specifically in Detroit Public School Community Districts’ (DPSCD) Priority Schools. I have a master’s degree in Education, and I use that knowledg to assist teachers in building units of study aligned to the Common Core State Standards and the College and Career Ready Standards. My classroom teaching experience and skills aid me in supporting the teachers to choose the appropriate technology and resources to transform the learning target into an effective learning experience for students. As a tutor, I will bring all of my knowledge of curriculum, progress monitoring, and real-world applications, to help students grasp the concept and successfully apply the concepts. My most valuable asset is my growth mindset. I am a “life-long” learner, who is constantly researching the latest educational technologies and adapting to the ever-changing landscape of education and educational support services. |
